You can see blood when defeating the enemy carring the big log and it's funny when the falling rocks lands on the enemies

I am trying to one credit this game at the arcade without using MAME for practice. I got up to the bear for the first time yesterday. I got killed by a falling rock or something.

Also, is it a bit strange how Smithers isn't black in this game? I thought it came out much earlier than it did.

It was probably a mistake by Konami. I don't remember seeing any non uh... Yellow? people in the game...

Smithers was black in the first episode he appeared in due to a mistake on the animator's part. The animators were based in Korea (I think), and they misread something in regards to Smithers. I'm not sure on the specifics of that, but Smithers' skin color in that episode was due to a misunderstanding.

Better than any other simpsons game at the time. Couldnt relato to Bart vs. the Space Mutants after hours and hours trying to finish this one.

The creators? It's Konami, they made tons of games. TMNT 1 and 2, Bucky O'Hare, and more. I suspect the composer worked on Cowboys of Moo Mesa at least.

I never got the chance to play Buck O' Hare. It never came out where I live. I suspect it's because the beat ups were losing steam and fighting games were making an appearance.

The Game went into production in late 1990-Early 1991, and it came out I think after Season 2 ended, which was still 1991.
