Why do people say this was just a cash grab? I see it in a look about taking a small town character and putting him into a city setting. John Lasseter wanted to make this movie ever since 2006. So please stop!
That first Sonic game is what got me to buy a Sega, it was fast and crazy and bad ass...and a lot of the games that came out for the genesis were bad ass as well. (for a 2d system)

Pixar films were up until now designed to be bodies of perfection in family filmmaking, with more adults enjoying them than children and always getting ecstatic critical reviews except the first Cars which was just considered decent. Cars 2 however is a terrible cash-in flick released just so it can sell more toys, and its a betrayal from the animation kings at Pixar. It's the first truly awful film they've released in their 25 years of history.
