Just did this, it's not fun. Mine ruptured on the way to the hospital, I was lucky that it was in a contained area. They gave me a 5 or 6 inch slice. I hiccuped a lot and threw up dark green bile a few times. I'm very lucky, it could have been tons worse.
I thought my appendectomy was a nightmare, but i look at your video and i understand i was lucky, i went to the hospital 4 days ago at 2 in the afternoon, at midnight i was in the OR, very scary times since tha was my first time for surgery, and 3 o'clock in the afternoon I was on my way home with a lot of pain ofcourse, 4 days later still hurts but I'm getting there.
Im in the hospital right know for this. I had my surgery done saturday at 10 in the morning after my appendix being infected and the surgeon having to cut it out im 15 years old its very painful to get up and walk to the restroom luckily I was able to pee and didnt need the tube. People reading this take care of yahs self so ya wont have to go trough this.
My 15 yr. old is currently in the hospital for same thing and almost needed the NG tube. He's been vomiting green bile here and there but walking a lot. His was emergency surgery and had perforated days before. He now needs other surgery near his lower skull as soon as we are out of here ugh. The back surgery months down the line.
i had my appendix removed about 3 months ago but mine didnt ruptured (thank God) so i was go to go in about 2 days after the surgery, but man, having appendicitis is the most painful thing i have ever gone through, but fortunately i didnt experience any pain after the surgery( thanks to the pain killer) just a little discomfort in one of the incisions
Ahh dude i feel it, i had the same thing, with the damn hose down my nose into the stomach it sucked, it almost killed me they put me on the table first before everybody man, felt like gettin stabbed for 12 hours over and over....
It has nothing to do with one's size or ability to tolerate pain. Some people suffer more than others, and not because they're making a lot of tadoo about nothing. Some people have greater infections than others, that perhaps has made them sicker. So, I'd be careful going and telling everyone that "it's nothing." Maybe for you, you were fortunate to be dealing with less. Not everyone is so lucky.
Being 9 is STILL irrelevant. There are 2 year olds that feel little pain as there are 40 year olds that are in agony. You said "its nothing". It suggests that since a little person got it and calls it nothing that it means that nobody should complain ignoring that not every appendix hurts equally, ruptured or not (curious you wait 'til now to mention that).
Well, you refuse to say your original comment was a big over-generalization. Fine. We don't need you to. I just did for you.
