  • Ron Paul supporters, lets send the message to congress that voter fraud will not be tolerated.

Also please sign this pre election vote so we can be counted. Then when they give us there fake #s we will have something for proof of who we want for president.

Please send this message around. It may be the most important thing you will ever do for your country.

Lets be counted now so they can not use election fraud on us later.

    Ron Paul 08'

  • Great Video!

Why do we support Ron Paul?

Because America belongs to THE PEOPLE!

  • I was raised in a Catholic background but was encouraged to seek my own Truths (thankfully!)The word "prayer" suggests to me a pleading to an "outside source" for help. I personally prefer self empowerment by envisioning the desired effect has already come, holding that thought in the collective consciousness. But, whether one prefers to call it "prayer" or "positive thinking", it does work. The only difference is in methodology. Do we plead or do we manifest by positive thinking?

  • Wow, I recently discovered positive thinking and never thought of it as being similar to praying, thanks for the insight.

  • Caucus voting system is not the best system

  • the US is really a theocracy and people need to wake up

  • The people of Iowa just got pwn by the MSM...they didn't wake-up early enough.

  • Thumbs up for courage. Now the men then to stand up.

  • Dr. Paul had this to say:

"We are set up to go through February 5th and that is half the states in the country," he said. And he indicated the campaign could fare better in New Hampshire, where primary voters make their choice next week.

"Among independent-minded people we came in first tonight," Paul said. And half the people in New Hampshire are independent-minded."

  • I've posted this elsewhere:

I couldn't help noticing while watching the CSPAN 2 coverage of the Republican caucus in Carroll county Iowa that:

They had a prayer session prior to deliberating to vote. I am not against any religion BUT couldnt help wondering what place and effect this prayer had prior to an election.

Was that even constitutional? Just wondering what people think.

  • hmfmi--Please read the 1st Amendment.

  • I've read it. All I'm saying is that elections are held thanks to taxpayer dollars and for prayer and religion to be connected to a public, national, government election is strange to me.

Not all citiczens of this country are Christians but they help fund elections. Religion is personal and should be discussed in politics. I am simply asking what place does it have at the polling booth?

Do you think it had any influence on people who were undecided until that prayer service was held?

  • hmfmi: You could compare that question regarding influence to Mike Huckabee playing the Jesus card at GOP debates (and everywhere else) to get the Christian vote.

  • Ladydi65422 That is the very comparison I am making. However Huckabee has every right to run on that platform.

What I want to know is what people think about prayer services being held at caucus' and if it would influence the estimated 50% of last min. deciders.

  • I believe that if the people want to have prayer, then they should be allowed to. Like you mentioned above, "elections are held thanks to taxpayer dollars" and I'm assuming the people who chose to have prayer are taxpayers. I can't give an opinion on whether or not their prayer could have had influence on undecided voters, as I didn't hear the prayer, and don't know specifically what they were praying for.

  • people who are so weak that they're swayed or offended by people praying near them shouldn't be voting anyway. many people get strength from their faith and by praying for "god to help them make the right choice" that is their way of getting in the zone. nobody is forcing anybody to pray. this gets me every time. people think theists are weak minded sheep also can't stand it when people have a customary prayer. i don't have to be christian to respect their rights.

  • All of what you said is true and I agree but...

Imagine going to a caucus, everyone is seated, receiving instructions, waiting to vote. Then the mic is handed to a man who then asks everyone in attendance to bow their heads and he begins to pray. Then they followed that up by passing around "buck bags" for donations.

To me it looked like a church service was being held.

Does this fall under freedom of speech or separation of church and state?

  • Prayer has a lot of influence on people's lives. Prayer is petitioning The God of the Universe, if it is through his Son Jesus, and He can change the heart of a king.

  • I am not religous personally, but how can you think the constitution is intended to prevent people from voluteering to pray? The constitution is designed to protect your rights by preventing the government from making laws that prohibit the free exercise of religion.

Read carefully the constitution, don't listen to other's interpretations and

    VOTE FOR RON PAUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Voluntering is one thing but when you go to a place to vote and the speaker has a mic and asks the croud to bow their heads in prayer while everyone is seated, waiting to vote...

anyway, don't misunderstand me, I'm just raising the question of constitutionality.

I will not comment further here. I'll create a space to do so on my own page later.

  • I saw that broadcast also and I couldn not believe what I was wathing. I didnt see the prayer part which has no place in any government function, but i had a huge problem with the sloppiness of the whole thing.

The votes were cast on pieces of scrap paper and tossed in a pile. The counters had no organization at all and those pink final talley sheets had the totals were scratched out multiple times with higher numbers.

  • Yeah it was pretty sloppy. The part I found laughable was when the guy designated to call in the results was told he would need a witness and he said he had one... Then someone from the room said "that's his father" and the chairman or perhaps vice chairman (Romney supporter) said "that's your father? I don't think so..." and they had someone else witness the call, which was comical in itself.

  • This woman is representative of the way a lot of people don't think.

  • America is doomed

  • huckabee will soon be exposed as the globalist he is. All of his followers don't even know who he really is...just another member of the CFR. Their ignorance is killing our country.

  • yeah vote for me

    voteyourconsience

    lolol

    Ron Paul for the prez

  • The Iowa caucus results were tallied in 2004 by a company that is headed by a man whose company was bought by Elron Electronics, the Israeli defense firm. I suspect that it will be the same this year. Don't expect to see any grassroots political activists doing the tally in Iowa. The Israeli defense establishment takes care of that part of the American "democratic" election process.

  • STFU. I'm one of the biggest Ron Paul supporters there is. I Caucused for Dr. Paul in Bettendorf, Iowa last night. The count was not rigged. Obama got most of the independents, and Paul split the rest with McCain. If you don't believe me about my support for paul or the fact that I was at the caucus, click my profile.

You truthers and conspiracy theorists are ruining a decent man's candidacy.

  • Thank you.

  • AlphaTerm,

    Thank you very much!
