  • The "Incident" happens in Season 5's finale. Great episode!

  • "The incident" was a Dharma experiment gone bad. Dharma was experimenting in electromagnetic anomalies pulsating out of the earth itself. The accidentally released the electromagnetic field from it's natural barrier in the earth, and to stop it from growing unendingly Dharma created a machine to contain the field ever 108 minutes, hence the input of the numbers. The input is an activation code, that activates the machine to contain the field before it gets out of control.

  • Ummmmmm......I don't think that "the incodent" (not sure spelled right) was the hostiles killing the dharma peeps

  • It wasn't. It was an experiment where Dharma drilled a hole in the ground and tapped into a

natural electromagnetic field in the earth. The field grows out, and that's why they have to input the numbers. Inputing the numbers sends a command to a machine that contains the field.

  • notice how his hair and uniform is different in the spliced part. wonder if thats a production error or part of the mystery?

  • production error forsure..

  • the incodent is probably just the electro-magnetism thing at the end of series 2 or sumthing else that will be explained later on in series 3 or even 4 (but i couldnt wait that long!!)

  • I dont think we know that yet, well we dnt know about the true 'incodent'.

  • what is "the incodent" he's talking about?

  • The mass murder the Hostiles did to the DArmah ppl

  • No, the incident also might be another leak which is what caused the swan to go critical to begin with. LOOK IT UP!!!
