  • Did someone meow at :57 ?

  • its a water monitor, the muzzle isn't as wide as a croc monitor, and the croc's got different markings

  • they are sho huge!

  • Sorry what was the website called again? You didn't repeat it enough times.

  • Cryptozoology novel see video book trailer

  • this is like monster hunter

  • oh there are some Vietnamese guest there, isn't it? i know cause i'm Vietnamese

  • theese are quite clearly komodo dragons. not monitor lizards

  • @jimtheadoremorrison NO, they are monitor lizard, they swing ther tail to fight at 00:27

  • @jimtheadoremorrison Varanus Salvadorii and the komodo are both monitors this is a crocodile monitor which can exceed lengths of a komodo dragon but no where near the mass

  • these not monitors! These are Salvator varanus

  • @ShivaShambodas It's a Varanus Salvadorii, "Varanus" is the latin term for "Monitor" so yes it is a monitor.

  • Monitor lizards look like small dinosaurs...and they can be just about as vicious as their prehistoric counterparts depicted in movies!

  • @ shukaku I believe I said, not that intelligent. I never said stupid. They have the capability to learn but unless they r in the wild they tend (not always) 2 only remember things such as tricks in the area that u teach them. They stress out easily. & I have only had my monitor a month I spend 2hrs a day w/him it was the previous owner that mistreated him. B4 u go accusin me of bein a bad vet/pet owner get all the facts. I am rehabilitating him I have been rehabilitating animals 4 3yrs now!

  • those lizards aren stupid.

  • thats not safe 2 b that close 2 wild monitors. I am a vet student & own a savannah monitor & know from experience & training that when they eat live prey they tend 2 associate any moving thing as food, especially fingers & toes. I speak from experience. In fact I didnt respect mine enough tonight & he got my thumb & almost broke it & he is a 3rd of this size! I wouldnt get that close they stress easily & attack when stressed & are not very intelligent they will turn on you if given the chance.

  • @rockerbaby2010 You must not be a very good vet on reptiles lol first off they don't associate everything that moves as food thats turtles, they associate anything they can over power as food a large dog they wouldn't try to eat they would try to scare off. Second savannahs aren't water monitors, water monitors are are of the nicer ones an have a high tolerance not like Niles or cro monitors. Lastly these things have lived around humans for a while so they dont see us as a threat.

  • @rockerbaby2010 They aren't stupid they are one if not the only type of reptile that can count. Even if its only up to like 6 they have been shown able to count and identify. By the way you own a savannah monitors its not htat you didn't respect it, you didn't spend the right amount of time with it as a baby so your not a good owner towards it even if you feed it and clean its cage so it doesn't trust you. If you have taken care of it better when younger it would only bite you if you had food.

  • OOhhh.... ahhhh... eaahhh

  • they so cute

  • wait these water monitor just live and chill at these parks and r "demesticated" to the pp? thats fucking awsome!!!!!

  • thief!

  • thats mad dont these things attack ppl . where is this lumphini park place

  • @6Gizmo101 It is a large park in the center of Bangkok. What Central Park is to New York City, Lumphini Park is to Bangkok. I understand that monitor lizards in the park eat the fish in the lake.

  • @6Gizmo101 are you fucking kidding me attacking people your a fucking dumbass mines is about that big if not bigger and it roams my house its train and minds its owe business people are so fucking retarded .....

  • Is this at Lumphini Park?

  • @jennitahini yes....this is at Lumphini Park.

  • @Snowbiz247 no it's not! It's

  • @Snowbiz247 no it's not!

  • Oh how I love reptiles.

  • @nom1girandzimfan its not a komodo coz there far less dangerous

  • bullshit

  • Are these lizards outside of any enclosure!!??

  • @notthelastword They are not in an enclosure... There are estimated to be hundreds of monitor lizards living in Lumphini Park. If you watch the entire video, I do a 360 degree pan that will give you the perspective of the area, with no fences.

  • @Snowbiz247 bUT IT MUST BE SO DANGEROUS FOR THE PUBLIC..THIS IS UNBELIVEBALE

  • Plus komodo dragons don't have those cute white circle-y stripes on them. (the lizard lover in me speaking)

  • why do people get so angry on the internet?

  • @Monkeyofthezodiac i couldnt agree more, why the fuck does it matter if they are Asian Water Monitors or Komodo Dragons??? they are water monitors, but i could give a shit less if they are panda bears. I think most people here need psychiatric help if they flip the fuck out this bad over what kind of lizard this is on youtube. you guys must have quite a dull, shitty life if this is your daily excitement

  • this is dumb shit. take this vid off

  • these arent komodo dragons... komodo dragons arent found in bangkok. the locals there would have just hunted them for their genitals, anyway.

  • F**k you man. Komodo's are found throughout Indonesia, not Bangkok.... And the people don't hunt them either.

  • Id rather you fucked yourself, really. These are asian water monitors, related to nile monitors. you dont know a goddamn thing other than inaccurate bullshit, you little cocksucker!

  • Whatever... Pardon me... I was watching videos on Komodos, and I didn't see the fucking name... So for fucking real... Chill out dip-shit.

  • yeah right gay boy!

  • these are water monitor lizards in lumphini park downtown Bangkok, not komodo dragons

the largest get 3 meters but usually only 1.5 to 2 meters

just do a search for monitor lizard bangkok and see a bunch of vids

  • You are correct, and the person who thumbed you down, (obviously the fag above you) needs a psychiatric evaluation.

  • @mmmmmarcus U need psychiatric evaluation, because u taking this internet shit serious

  • Dont speak to me, Porch-Monkey.

  • @roasdirector ikr

  • far too small to be komodo dragons.

  • Monitor Lizards Battle Each Other Over a Fish at Lumphini Park, Bangkok Thailand.

Who said anything about them being Komodo Dragons?....

  • and komodo dragons, are responsiable for more than 2 deaths and dont fear humans, they get more than 20 ft long, man is a food source to them, they are feared and respected they will hunt what ever they smell, get your shit together, but an asian monitor i am 98% confident the patteration of its skin and the sail fin tail a komodo that size would not have, easily tamed your an idiot theyre highly illegal world wide dumbass, no one owns them but theyre native islands.

  • they only get 9 feet long

  • @atctnt

they get bigger than 9' brother ive seen photo's of 15' modo's and have talked to herpoculterests who have incountered the varanid, 9 foot or not its still a big fukn lizard.

  • @sgtbuzz09

my bad i stand corrected the photograph was inlarged in the back ground about ten ft, that is still pretty massive...

  • nice looking lizards, theyre not komodo dragons though ass, theyre asian water monitors

  • Komodo Dragons aren't actually aggressive towards human and there are very very few human attacks and only 2 fatalities have been known in modern times. They are easily tamed for some yet unknown reason. And they are known to engage in play behaviour which is a mammalian trait and recognize individual humans.

  • are u sure your'e not talking about cats?

  • Someone should toss them a live human baby, you know, for fun.

  • ha there both just sitting there like u wanna fuck with us try it

  • Comment removed

  • these arn't komodo dragons im sick of people cofusing Komodo dragons with monitor lizards. don't you get it? monitor lizards don't have desease causing saliva and arn't as big, or aggresive, or dangerous, or awsome.

  • Komodo Dragons are a type of monitor.
