Well, in Bangalore traffic is totally mismanaged. Cops seem to be deployed purely for the purposes of revenue maximization. People manning most signals dont seem to be from traffic police but from some security agency whose personal or not adequately trained. Two wheeler riders are also the biggest offenders who overtake breaking all rules. They drive on footpaths & honk at pedestrians. Most roads (including signal-free roads)do not have skywalks or subways. Basically no one cares!!!!

Bangalore is the worst city in India for lack of traffic sense followed by Hyderabad....this royal distinction used to be Delhi but after traffic police took some clean measures, it has gained a semblance. The offenders don't just pay the fine, they are made to sit up & down on the same spot. The worst tribe of offenders are the cab drivers, followed by Water Tankers, BMTC & then these bikers - offenders should be humiliated, only then this would stop....

This is not a matter of going slow, going to slow also causes traffic jams behind you. Its a matter of knowing the rules...! Indians roads are becoming hell, its dam frustrating to drive these days.. Government should really improve the infrastructure and revoke the licence of a lot of Autos, Call Taxis and buses if they dont drive well.
