@mikestylz96 well the stage 3 is made by mopar and it comes in a kit with all the goodies you need like higher cc ingectors and the turbo but the 50 trim will pull more boost but its just the big turbo, but then you have to upgrade all your other stuff.
dam! lol. What size is the stock turbo...? stock flange size? I need a smaller turbo for my tib. Idk what's on it... but it was meant for 20-35psi... not 10-15... So I have NOTHING below like 4.5k and full boost isn't till around 5+ so kinda useless. nice car btw
@accordv6er the problem there is it being a tiburon. You can't put a 4k turbo kit on a 2k car. Stock srt turbos are mitsubishi TD04's though. reverse rotation.

this one in particular could smash an evo 8, i have a stock srt 4 and they beat me by a paint job. but it also depends on how i shift too. currently i am 1-1 with and evo8 in NC
well... slightly upgraded at least. SRT put PT cruiser rotors/calipers on them. With ceramic pads they do fade a lot less but pedal feel is still a bit soft.
@Rtree115 What are you, stupid? The SRT-4 got unique brakes on all 4 wheels, and had a stock 60-0 distance of 112ft in some tests. That's 2004 911 Turbo stopping distance, FYI.

They built the car with weight in mind, so they put the smallest cost effective brake package they could find. you do not buy SRT4's with stock FOUR PISTON CALIPERS from the factory.

@jts323 Quite a few GT Cruiser's are stick, and it's pretty much the same engine. But 31compton13 is just being a dumbass, because the PT Cruiser GT or GT Cruiser as some call it, has a much different gauge cluster. Bad ass SRT4 by the way, nice job.
@loveableterror thats not totally true. its a shared with the pt, but its not from it, its accually a stratus 2.4 block with all new internals and head that was specifically designed for the neon first when they were comming up with the srt-4 design back in around 2002, the basic pt cruiser had the standard stratus 2.4, and the pt-gt accually shared some of the engine from the srt, the internals arent as strong, hence the reason no stage kits. it even needed a special intake to fit into a pt-bay
They're the same block but the Cruiser is 400 lbs heavier and the GT model has a lower factory HP rating to save the tranny I think. I don't think they made a manual PT GT.

for the price of a v8 dodge, you are getting no more performance. the NSRT4 is extremely fast for the money and with upgraded engines/turbos can be 600+whp

i have to say im impressed by these cars, my friend just bought a SRT-4 and it is pretty fuckin fast. i just think its kind of silly their neons thats all, when i was young i saw neons as cheap crappy cars. not anymore i guess.

Any economy car that becomes common will always be seen as crappy. You only see old ones anymore and they are worn down and beat because they are cheap cars therefore the owner doesn't have money to buy a better car or take better care of it. Certain cars will always be like that because of the particular market they are in. Therefore they will get the image in peoples minds of crappy.

I know .50 trims are quick so I'm not doubting the SRT's performance, but Stephen Hawking would $#@! himself if he saw a 2800lb car accelerating from 100mph to 110 IN BETWEEN SHIFTS when no power is being sent to the drive wheels. Please explain!
