Before Glenn hit the big time he was a session guitarist on Elvis` Viva Las Vegas soundtrack in 1963, on which he also sang back-up vocals. Glenn recorded a number of demos from which Elvis chose his material in the mid-sixties, up to and including 1967 movie Stay Away Joe.
EWlvis recorded Campbell`s hit "Gentle On My Mind" and also sang "Turn Around Look At Me" in concert.
