For everyone who is wondering if you have to use the special nail polish, the answer is no. It depends on your base color and how dark or light it is. I do partially recommend buying the special nail polish since it is thicker and has a 99.9% chance of showing up on your nail.

I tried something similar with a black tip and instead of using pink over top of the black I used white. When i applied the konad top coat, the white didn't smudge, but faded until it was hardly visible.

How did you keep the pink from fading into the black? Did you apply a top coat on the black tip, and then apply the polkadots to keep the black and pink from mixing?

i live in toronto too- i wouldnt reccommend going to richmond centre because the price is like three times what it is on ocnailart(dot)com. ive ordered several times from there, and there has been no extra charges or anything- it all worked out perfectly. i would highly recommend that site!

what you can do is with a q-tip make the tip straight and will be easier to put it straight in your nail.

si! tu sabes que el diseno de french es como curve no precizamente straight, bueno pues con un q-tip puedes hacer esa "curva" que sea completmente derecha para que sea mas facil que te quede derecha en tu una. Porque los disenos a veces son mas granes que tu una, alomejor no te van a quedar exactamente a la medida de tu una.
