Conceptually they're all still all about the same thing; creating a gut wrenching, soul ripping, horribly dirty and dark sound that reflect some of the frustrations and aspects of modern humanity that are rarely openly discussed... I'd bet money most dubstep producers are fans of dnb, break-core, and any other obscure dark genre... That's the reason...
