At the time this was released in 1994, Stratovarius had a mediocre success...only 3 years later when "Visions" came out they skyrocketed into gold-record status. Still, despite their success with later records somehow this is one of my favourite albums of theirs. Has a really special atmosphere.

I love the sound of Dreamspace, it has a certain atmosphere that you can't describe but is there, you can feel it. And tolkki's guitar sound is so special, i'm still trying to get that sound out of my guitar lol

His singing is also better than Kotipelto's, in my opinion.

The dark themes and great lyrics, together with the skillful compositions and the technical playing, is what makes Dreamspace so epic.

i only knew about a bootleg where this maybe will appear, but there's NO live version and no videos of this album. tolkki took out the first albums from the live performances. maybe was 'cause kotipelto wasn't the right voice for those songs.
