Can someone please explain the writing thing to me? I've seen the movie, but I don't understand the scene where she's writing. Isn't that writing from the past? How did it show up 20 years later? What was going on in that scene? Also, what happened to her in those 20 years? She, to the rest of the world, had just vanished, right? And when she wasn't in class, was she in class back in her time?

@comediancentralmusli pretty much when she was writing on the desk in her time it transferred over to jay's time because that desk was still there after 20 years. that's why the writing were all old looking when jay read it, also she died in those 20 years because on her way back she forgot her asthma thing and she was dieing so she wrote those words on the desk before she died.

well the piano piece is like a timetravel and she uses it to ascend the time and goes back several years in time to a certain time where she meets her love, the protagonist. Whilst in the past only the first person she sees is the only that can see her. But due to a triangular lovedrama she believes her love is taken by some other girl and returns to her own time and tries to leave him a message. Love it

I don't think I've heard anyone play this piece quite similar to this version before (minus the violins). I think it has to do with the tempo when it reaches to the 'chorus' or the middle section of it at 0:50 until 1:34 because its slightly slower, more deliberate. Although I kinda agree with one of the comments that there is no climax to this, I still think it is by far the most beautiful piece of music I've heard on a piano.
