  • good for you, tell your coach to teach you to wind more flat, look at good throwers, winds and first turn should be flat, or near flat, that alone will help you immensely. And put the low point at your right foot. Keep up the good work.

  • @SuperOlds88 Thanks for the advice. I'll try it out.

  • @dadadvd your welcome, not giving advice, you already have a coach for that, you could do one thing for your throwing, watch a youtube vid called "training with Stewart", I know your a beginner, but you dont want to have to break bad habits.

  • @dadadvd dont do flat winds if you only do 2 turns tho.... then you wont get it down again

  • Thanks for your video. I enjoyed watching it. I'm almost 59, and just got my hammer. Got lots of practice to do!

  • "Holy buckets?"

    heh heh.

and by the way, this was pretty cool. Inspirational if anything.

  • Thanks. And holy buckets? Ah yes. That's Howie. I don't ask where it came from. Or what it means.

  • This wouldn't happen to be in North Branford, CT, would it?

  • No. Seattle.

  • Ah... the site looked familiar but I guess not.

  • so cute

  • I'm glad you thought so, but as the saying goes, "you ain't seen nothin' yet." Howie (my coach) says I should throw the weight as well -- after all, he says, it's only 20 lbs. for men my age. Once I get started, I'll make sure he records one of our practice sessions.

  • sweet, i wish I could throw the 20# weight
