@vali0312 - The producers of "Grey's Anatomy" noticed Sara Ramirez's work on Broadway (where she was an established star having won a Tony Award for "Spamalot - look up her performance of "Find Your Grail" if you haven't already) and offered her the role of Callie Torres and the rest is history

The woman is amazing and is an incredible singer. She's also a very talented actress too. It's nice to see her get recognition from a more mainstream audience who are unfamilar with her work on stage....

@vali0312 - She's still contracted to "Grey's Anatomy" and most likely will remain with the show (at least for the immediate future). No doubt at some point, she'll get back to Broadway.....

In the meantime (again if you haven't already!), take a look at her work in "Spamalot". In particular, "Find Your Grail" and "The Song That Goes Like This". Both are hilarious and show her amazing range as a singer! ....... :)

I totally agree! Lonny Price is amazing! Thanks for posting this. I wish A Class Act would come back on Broadway! It's such a shame it didn't sell well in Japan, but people who actually saw it still say that was the best musical ever! I would love to go see it if they are back again!
