  • Love it.

  • didnt someone sample this on a beat? if you know please leme know its botherin me

  • Frosty, Heidi, and Frank.......lol

  • I am a catapult, and i love this music.

  • I get it, age doesn't matter.

  • from Brenda Lee to lady gaga wtf went wrong??

  • @AntiSupremoFacist Electronics! Kids today are not taught to read music or study theory or learn to play an instrument its too much work! Todays music or todays noise is predominantly sampled from other artists, they take the easy way out! Image is everything today, forget about orchestration, good arrangements, sound quality, its not there anymore and its sad they have no idea what their missing!

  • @oneill9875 you're absolutely right! the situation has gone from bad to worse and the future of music looks bleak.

  • @oneill9875 It's not because music is made from non physical instrument that it's less rich than others. I'm an amateur musician. I like Mozart and I like Extrawelt too. This Brenda Lee song, I like it, but frankly, it's not very rich musically at all. It's just an successful recipe of that time. People, just don't be close minded. Not all today's music is crap or stolen. Crap music existed too at that time. I give you a medal if you can stand the first Rolling Stones albums.

  • @Zhakaraz Not very rich huh! "I'm Sorry" you feel that way, crap music didn't win grammys like it does today, how about chris brown for example! No big deal I respect all opinions so keep em comin!

  • In the era of the 50's there was no female that sold more records than Lee. A string of terrific songs!!! And still sound great today.

  • Thumbs Up if you knew Brenda Lee by Charlie Harper !

  • heartbreakingly beautiful vocals... wow, thanks god for letting Brenda be born xxxxxx

  • it breaks my heart xD

    22 y old man xD

  • I'm sorry mum for all the trouble i've caused u

  • Tommy Boy brought me here strangely enough.

  • Great songs live for ever!

  • love this song.

  • Crystal clear voice!

  • I grew up during the 60's and I loved all this music and this one in particular stayed in my mind. I know it was done probably in the late 50's, however. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us; reminding us of the memories that went along with the music.

  • Being 72 has some advantages AntelellumOg [what sorta name is that? roflmbo] The wrinkles are very handy for screwing your hat on on a windy day. dare i say it...condoms too. You should have more respect for age....especially when it's bottled. First 'puter was way bach - a 286. remember them?

  • I love brandas special voice, not sweet but attactive and unforgetable. 40 years still beating my heart.

  • Not country. This is part of the white commercial period of rock.

  • @imabossbitch100 I was 11 years young when this song played on the radio and all us kids thought Brenda Lee was colored because of her voice. Sounded like she had too much soul to be a white person.

  • OldieZ 101

  • I'll soon be 73 years old and still in love with the 19 year old girl I married in 1961. After 50 years we still grow closer every day. Each morning we wake and say "I love you and I'm sorry". The sorry is for any arguments that may pop up during the day. I even get on yourtube and play this song for her if we have an especially bad moment .

  • Classic.

  • Classic.

  • There is no such thing as singing anymore. The computer does it for you.

  • @WazziBerry also included in the "singers of today" package is a load of over the top make-up, ridiculous, unoriginal fashion statements and vulgar dance moves to distract us from the lack of actual singing talent.

  • @CasketPrank Haha, well said.

  • yes ,this era was so special.and we can be thankful that we shared it ,together. Time changes all, but we alwaws have our memorirs, so sweet.

  • SUBLIME!!!

  • without disrespect...she sounds cindy lauper

  • @iota1962

er, no - cindy sounds like her. Who came first? lol

  • this song reminds me a movie ''House Of The Spirits'' and I don't know why! I was listening it when I was younger. :]

  • @edchaves Agreed totally with your comment, what can we do without songs, eh? I personally don't know what to make of the stuff being played today. Well I suppose its a new generation now, but nice to note a lot of youngsters preferring the 80s and beyond music, which is quite good. Thank you too for the potted musical history of Brenda Lee - I rate her highly, thanks again.

  • i,m sorry baby hope the best

  • Oh what a voice!

  • great voice

  • Im 26 and appalled by my generation. I don't like any music past the 90s. 2000's are horrific. 60/70/80s being my FAVES.

  • eindelijk weer eens een goede song

  • @Gunfighter200077. . ." the 50s and early 60s have 2 be the best times in american history!!!."......you have forgotten the Bay of Pigs invasion, or the near collision with the Soviet about the Cuban missiles, or indeed the foreign adventure to Viet Nam which cost America 50,000 young lives being lost needlessly. Lessons have not really being learned, have they??

  • @macvatu LOL thank you for saving me the time from replying to that same stupid comment. I saw that and was like WTF seriously?

  • @macvatu ve3ry true.

it's just people looking at life through rose coloured glasses.

  • @macvatu Those songs were made to make us to forget the sad parts of the 50s and 60s. I am 60 and enjoyed a lot such kind of songs. Thanks!

  • songs like this i wish i could express in words to certain people but they will never understand how i feel. :( love is just a myth meant for others but not the few who want to do things the right way. girls someow always get the guys who r jerks and never find us good guys

  • Ah! beautiful song, I like this song. I like classic country. Thank's the partage. Diana

  • Right now is best time to be alive. Humanity is on the verge of its greatest discoveries. As the Renascence followed the dark ages economic, political, economic and social enlightenment are about to follow greed and hate. Don't get down on now. We are all lucky to be alive. The old days weren't as good as what is coming.

  • @dagg67 I've been telling the nostalgic people this for a good while. But we won't get there by waiting for it to happen, we each need to do our part. And we can't shun what came before us; instead, learn from them. That's the beauty of humanity: we build upon each other's lives so that an achievement such as a new invention is effectively created by thousands of unsung heroes, whether those be people that came long before or by contemporaries

  • Country? Pop? Contemporary? Who can tell the diffrerence anymore? As long as you like what you're hearing what's it matter what "description" it's given?

  • And what do we have to look forward to ... Lil Wayne :O(

  • Love this song Miss Brenda, I remember when it came out!!!! Those were the best years for sure! We had Elvis just getting on his feet career wise, Brenda Lee, Connie Francis, etc. to many to name.... I like Brenda's song Fool number 1,and All alone am I. Way to go, lots of great memories from back then.... hugs Jessi

  • @Scarlettisreal For instant good karma, remember to include Barney Fife whose first name was Jesus. Born in a barn on a Silent Knight, all is calm, as in comedy. And Don Knotts was Comedic Genius Number One. In Spanish, Jesus is pronounced Hay Sus -- hay sustains our treasured horses and wild mustangs.

  • I let the girl from Riverview michigan get away- I'm sorry April, but maybe we will get one more chance...

  • una canción e interpretacion sexy

  • this is country? wow, country has changed

  • Many babies were made in that period. :)

  • Brenda could really belt it out! Is she still alive?

  • Nice use of strings, along with her melodic voice made this an instant classic..

  • does anybody know if she's still Alive?

  • This song is just so demented and desperate! LOVE IT!

  • Beautiful music !

  • great song. love the way she sings it

  • Oh my! thank you for posting this song....I'm not sorry...I'm in happy.....

  • i'm sorry but (no pun intended, heheh) who can stand this shit? just because it's old doesn't mean it's good. if i'd lived back then it would've drove me nuts too. and i love much of the music from this era.

  • @tygersflowerz Just because some people like some music you don't like, that gives you no right to question their opinions. :/

  • @ForgetfulVamp i'm sorry. so sorry.

  • @tygersflowerz Hahaha ! ... Touché ! ...

  • I wish I could go back in time, to marry Brenda Lee. (:

  • @AdriKun00... you still have time if she's willing

  • I love such kind of music and singers, despite the fact that I'm 33 ^_^. Those times were undoubtedly treasurable.

  • bomba

  • i'm sorry 4 watching porn :-/

  • I keep waiting for the drop.. but it never happens..

  • I'm sowry....so sowry. I never noticed her lisp. So sweet!

  • When I was about 6 years old I used to watch TV Ranch a local TV program out of Atlanta. Brenda Mae Tarpley would have to stand up on a wash tub to sing so the cameras could pick up her picture. Later I moved to Nashville & heard Miss Brenda Lee & was amazed it was the same little girl only she had grown up. She married Ronnie Shacklett that lived a couple of blocks from my house. I went to school with his brother Steve. Brenda & Ronnie are still together. This was Brenda's greatest song.♥

  • Maravillosa canción. Me emociona al escucharla.

  • These actualy when they could sing without all of the editing crap.

  • When country was actually nice to listen to.

  • when i hear songs like this, i realise that i will never regain the happy times of the past. Why does everything change. My best times were in the past, this current world is such an empty place. Nobody speaks from the heart,

    Many thanks for posting this
