I have the very same thing Tom has and no doctor has ever been able to figure it out. I first got it in 1969 and in 1971 I got better after a hospital stay. It returned to me in 1986. I have been to all kind of doctors but all that has been done for me is give me medicine and going through therapy and stuff like that. I am 63 now and I guess I will have this till I die but I don't have the head tilting any more but almost all of the bones in my cervical area have fused together.

I have something similar but no way nearly as severe, but it is painful. I got the Botox shots and they work like magic!! About every 3 months or so I get another one!! It works right away for me.
