i hope ivory has the patience for the saints since their backfield is already crowded with ingram, thomas, and sproles. i never expected the saints would go for ingram and i thought it was stupid actually. i thought they were gonna for a good pick for the defence like a corner maybe or a outside linebacker. bottom line i expected ivory, thomas and sproles to lead the backfield not ingram at all. hes probably another bust like bush.

I was so excited watching this guy play this past year. He has something the NFL hasn't seen in years. Adrian is a big fast RB, but he's just not as vicious of a runner as Ivory. This guy has no regard for the well being for anybody on the field, INCLUDING himself. It's evident in the way he runs. He averaged 5 yards/carry this year and if you notice in the highlights it wasn't because of exceptional blocking, but a desire not to be stopped. It's like he's trying to hurt himself when he runs.

@GO302 your absolutely correct,half the time he was running into the back of his blocker or getting caught up in his blockers feet...i had the oppurtunity to meet Chris a couple weeks ago in Longview tx. where he is from and where i work...one of the nicest guys you will ever meet...took time out from car shopping to sign an autograph and take a pic...he is also a beast and is ready to play...no doubt could have had a 1,000 yd season and i hope they give him the ball more!

@liberty1stpls I don't know.I think their styles are a bit different.Ivory has an incredible burst to the line of scrimmage and has a combination of power and speed to run through defenders.Barber had a combination of power and agility;he is more quicker than fast.If Ivory hits open space,he's gone;Barber, not so much.The way they attack defenders are similar,but Ivory is the more complete back, and I believe,is more powerful than Barber.Ivory has HOF potential,he just needs to stay healthy.

@yeaheverday I did'nt see any devastating news like that on SAINTS.com or NFL network .com,the last thing i heard about IVORY injury is that he was walking around on crutches but that was about 8 months ago. I check the Depth chart recently on SAINTS.com and on the page it had P. THOMAS,IVORY,HAMILTON&INGRAM at the running back position.In my opinion i think he will be ready for the packers game,just my opinion

@yeaheverday Last report I read...Ivory was able to walk without a cast.The report also stated he would start running on it again soon.That was about 5 months ago.My bet is,he'll be ready for training camp or preseason.

@CTSaints89 Thank You! And yes,I agree. I think many people have forgotten just how good Ivory was,ever since the Ingram pick. Ivory missed significant amounts of time in big chunks last year and still accumulated 700+ yards. Ivory is a gem and Sean knows it.With Ingram now in the mix,I don't see how you can stop the Saints run game this year.Of course,I am assuming that Ingram lives up to the name he's made for himself.

You know what piss me off though, the seahawk fans did not have to deal with this man BEAST in the playoffs and also P.T. CRUISER did not play due to injury. Your right a lot of the fans are hype about INGRAM and they should be but please dont forget about P.T. CRUISER and CHRIS IVORY. I am happy we got INGRAM but lets wait and see how he plays in the NFL first.

@TheJayblaze3 Chris Ivory was the difference maker in the first meeting with the Seahawks.He WAS our running game and that is what many people still failed to acknowledge.He gave us balance,which opened up our play action.The Saints are most deadly, when they have balance. In pretty much every game we lost last year we had no RUN game.Ivory would have devastated the Seahawks in that playoff game, had he not been out with that injury.

@FB1stDOWN I dont know why but OFFENSIVELY since the PEYTON era,the SAINTS find hidden gems later in the draft but the 1st round guys does not live up to the hype.(REGGIE & MEACH were the last guys OFFENSIVELY the SAINTS drafted in the first round,those guys played decent through out the years but not first round material,2nd round through the 7th round),undrated free agents as well always shine in PEYTON HISTORIC OFFENSE. I hope INGRAM change that whole not living up to the hype thing around
