actually this argument is right... if it is improv and there are people that think it is chorio then the improv did what it was meant to and if it is chorio and people think it is improv it means that it gave the feeling of free dance... there for it did what it ws meant to do .... either way the dance acomplished something .. right? !

umm i would hope all good actors and dancers know what contact improv is... but apparantly the critics of this performance do not. this is obviously an improv. all of their individual techniques are at an extremely highlevel which makes it seem flawless and jointless

no..its definitely improv. i'm a dancer and part of improving is anticipating what each person around you will do next. and the more you work and dance with each other, the more you learn about how others dance and how you interact with them

it's not improv. you can tell that each dancer anticipates each coming partner move.

thats a fair observation. its too bad everyone jumped down your throat about it. however, its exactly that anticipation (which you were observant to notice) that makes this dance so amazing. they were able to anticipate each other's moves based on their experience and skill level. the most "choreographed" an improv piece is, the better. wouldn't you agree?

I think you might be mistaken on what improv means. The dancers went out not knowing what they were doing and created this masterpiece. None of the comments have been negative. They are all praising the amzing dancers.

I love improv sessions, you commit yourself fully to what you are doing and it is so beautiful.
