Checking the lovebirds nestbox before candling the eggs 2-4-10

this is my 1st time my lovebird has a egg she only has one its normal the she come out from the nest and eat by her self can i leave the cage open to let them out ???

@dayzv83 Congrats on the egg! Do you know if you have a male and female or have you seen them mating prior to her laying the egg? I would try to leave the female to tend to her egg. Generally, the females during breeding season and especially after laying can be a little agressive/protective of their cage.
