  • wow, great video...Thanks a lot for showing this beautiful technique. Can you tell me what this grey substance grote gatenvuller is called in English?

  • Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you for watching and support!

  • Very, very interesting.....I would say that I do not focus on the surface of my paintings/mixed media work enough. Your process made me think.

    Great video 5/5

    -Merrill

  • Thank you Merrill.

  • It's wonderful to watch you put together different elements and make the end result come alive. The final work looks very harmonious and peaceful!

  • I've a big smile at this moment :-))

Almost all the times I work on a painting, I think "Ow.. I need a lot a lot and a lot more to do to make something harmonious of it". And then, suddenly, I see it's finished and I'm surprised because sometimes there are just a few minutes between this thoughts :)

  • That's such a brilliant and wonderful moment when it all comes together like that, eh? You do it so well, too!

  • Yes, that's really magic sometimes. Thanks Deborah!

  • I really enjoyed this work...and I loved the jazz as well : )

  • Hey, Carla, thanks for another enjoyable video. Beautiful work. And so nice to see you using your heat gun, thanks to Klaas :) See you both soon.

  • Thanks Ingrid :-))

  • Beautiful textures, what did you use to create that texture?

  • That grey stuff is stuff you use to fill in the holes in your walls. I really don't know the English word for it. In Dutch it is called 'Grote gatenvuller' van Alabastine.

  • And I use eggshell (thanks to Gary Reef) above the skull :)

  • Hi Carla, i'm so greatful that you guys share your talent on here with all of us. Its really motivates me. Take care and be blessed.

  • Thanks Angela!

  • Carla what a joy to see you!!!! I love both of your paintings. Not a busy crowd?

  • Thanks Lisa. Not a really big crowd overthere, but enough people around.

  • Great art work , nice demonstration surrounded by people Carla. And nice smile also.

  • Thank you!
