I guess that's the problem with highschools, they gave us the formulas when I took calc in my university. Calc shouldn't be about memorizing 40+ formulas, but knowing when and how to use them or at least being able to derive some formulas on your own and understanding why they work.
@xxxcoolboyxxx tbh it's fair enough, you can hardly claim a degree in mathematics if you can't remember the mathematical formulas.
the formulas here are really quite fundamental so if you don't know them you can't really do maths. if you've understood the content you can actually derive them from first principles anyway.
What's up with all these bizarre robotic messages? What purpose could they possibly serve? But I do agree-- "my insight is very open."

Damn double angle formula is ridiculous. Every time I work a problem on a quiz or in the book and I have to use that, I'm like "really"????

Im stuck with a maths uestion and im wondering if anyone could help ?
ok so basically :
The price of a car has increased in value by 30%. If the car is now
valued at £7800 what was its previous value?
im kinda dumb.......
kerrieluvsya 1 year ago
@kerrieluvsya Something times 1.3 (30% increase) is equal to 7800. Therefore, 7800/1.3 is 6000. The answer is 6000 units.

@gorgolyt
You don't have time to derive them on a test.
