@tman8079 You don't need to cock them but you need to pull the slide initially. They are double action semi autos so every single time you load a magazine after the first magazine you just press the slide release, so yea like you said.

He didn't lock the gates, and not once did the zombies get anywhere close enough to breaking in. Zombies don't even have the capability to understand things like gates. For all we know, a zombie could have knocked it back. Now shut up and enjoy the scene.

great movie but a funny mistake at the same scene....notice the amount of zombies sprinting towards him when he's in that small shop....notice the amount of bullets he has left....now way he can kill all those zombies with that amount of bullets....i think it's still an awesome scene....

@takama64 why he has that much is because when he came out of truck before he did he loaded up on ammo LOADS of it he had a fully automatic gun when he was in the car shooting the zombies then after he brought his shot gun then after he switched to his pistols when he was in there i was getting scared cuz i thought he was gonna die then if they make zombie land 2 it will suck! not 100% suck it will be a little cool but without the jokes from him and the intense stuff -like this scene-

the idea of the scene is the gate window things were suppose to kep the zombies out,if the gates were open they could just get in and get him,it's closed at the end therefore a goof.
