Aaah, now this is much better! I wasn't overly impressed with your interpretation of Beethoven's Pathetique 1st movement, and left a critical comment. But this is much better quality, you have a better knack for ragtime. It's funny, because, I can do pathtique quite well, and this piece in terms of difficulty is easier - yet I struggle with the C section here. Now going to watch your Fantasie Impromptu - c ya there ;)

It's all in a matter of taste. Some prefer it slow, some medium, and some fast. Although, if it has the slightest hint of being too fast, you'll have all these people quoting, "It's not good to play ragtime fast - Scott Joplin". Really though, you can play at any tempo that you think may be appropriate. It's all opinion.

I think this is one of Joplin's most difficult pieces next to Treemonisha. The opening themes isn't too bad, and the last theme is easy, but the second and third themes I've always had trouble with, most because of the octaves. I have extremely large hands, which most think would help me in reaching octaves, but it actually hurt me more because i have a tendency to OVER grab for octaves at times, and to compensate, I underestimate the distance which usually results in not grabbing enough.
