Another good tip, same rules apply but DO NOT zoom during a close quaters fight while strafing youll be an easy target because you move slow, hip fire then strafe

It's called aim assist. Almost all console games have it, it's just overdone in COD. I mean, the cross-hair literally auto follows a target while he's running behind an obstacle from which point, you can't even see him.

I'm sure everyone knows. But another useful tip is to begin to hip fire, then hold down aim. So you start shooting before you aim, as there's a delay before you can see down the sights. So that's right trigger before left. Really helped me.

dont get me wrong, its a good tip and all, but was it really needed to use nearly 11 minutes to say "aim with left analog stick." Oh, and ghost is an awesome perk, it only makes sense in a game like black ops, where rushing gets u killed and its infested with campers to be as invisible and sneaky as possible. in black ops its more about out smarting the other player vs. out shooting.

This is not a bad video at all, but the thing is that the enemy is not always gonna end up in your crosshairs. Also sometimes, even when you're aiming right at the corner, the enemy my run past your crosshairs and strafing is no going to be fast enough. It all depends on the angle your enemy is in. There are times where you must use the right analog. But I like the video nonetheless.

I think you should move the right one for only going down. if you go up, your gunna be less accurate. say you're more elevated like on wmd. i would only use right analog stick for aiming down. what i do is, i use this tactic, plus aiming down. and im usually covert. ghost, slight of hand, and ninja or hacker. getting pro with these would be more effective. weapons of choice for: mp5k, famas, hk21, galil, stoner63, m60(trust me once you get used to this, its very good)

lol that mainly works with the smg strafe style.. its gud with the mp5 and 74u.. and u do go in more gun fights.. with an assault rifle u wud play more defensively around a house and sometimes move around when necessary to kill someone.. smgs are effective with strafing, but u still dont get that high kd u get with assault rifles. maps like launch, summit, havana, and maybe nuketown can work with smgs real well..believe me i know my overall kd is really high

@mrtrickzstar It's my belief that your play style determines perk selection. Playing more aggressively and having to constantly be in gun fights would warrant using Steady Aim. However, if you're more of a passive player, not having too many consecutive gunfights, then some other perk may be better. I don't know if that answered your question. Know your play style, and get better at it. Don't try to play someone else's style because it looks flashy, lol!
