  • @prajvin121 NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i discombobulated someone as a joke and got a letter from the police :|

  • Come now Holmes, do you really think you're the only one who can play this game?

    *commence counter-ownage*

  • 3:00 to 3:27 That what the AUDIENCE can do BEST when it sees such an AMAZING BRAWL that has taken place in just a few seconds. STAND in SILENCE. Its like the entire AREA is vacant and that as if everyone along with the ENEMY has COLLAPSED as well. There's is SERIOUSLY no REACTION from the AUDIENCE for the PERSON who has won the BRAWL. Its the complete OPPOSITE. This reaction hence kind of DISAPPROVES Newton's third law of motion. HAAHAAA!!!!

  • @prajvin121

Is there ANY PARTICULAR reason that you're CAPITALISING WORDS FOR no apparent REASON? Please stop shoutING.

  • I wonder where those SOUND EFFECTS are coming from?

  • @critic37509 The one where the guards discover a seemingly bewitched guard near Blackwood's cell.

  • @joshuastark86 The hits are actually real. They mention it in the bonus features of the dvd/blu-ray. They had a fight coordinator come in and work with them. Robert Downey Jr. actually gave the guy a hard time because he really does Wing Chun.

  • i should do that to my brother AGAIN

  • @reza2468 Haha Ip man?

  • @reza2468 How can you tell? I'm not that familiar with it.

  • @Calriec the blinding isn't. Blocking his jab looks like a pak sau. Punch to the face, elbow low, first vertical is classic wing chun. Slaps on the ear isn't. Second block looks like fok sau. Then same punch, only it's usually to the face. Third block looks like a bong sau, only the punches usually are aimed much higher. When I'm more skilled I'm gonna learn how to use the elbows. Same punches. Kicks are allways low, but this one is from another martial art. This is what I can say in 500 charact

  • @reza2468 I know almost nothing about martial arts, so I'll take your word for it.

  • @Calriec Don't. My sifu probably wouldn't have liked my reaction. It's not REAL wing chun, but no doubt it's inspired by it. If you look up the moves I told you you'll see it's kinda similar.

  • @reza2468 i noticed the weird elbow and what not did look a lot like bong sau and all those martial arts moves, especially the ear clap, only he exaggerated is movements because its a movie obviously

  • I love how the music cues back up again as he takes a bottle of bitter from the bar and walks out. Love it...

  • @CitySkin09 yeah he isolated absolutely everything that would distract him

  • Fuck yeah! "Rocky Road To Dublin".

  • 2:53 U GOT KNOCKED THE FUC OUT !

  • "Where did that come from"! LOL

  • "Where did that come from?" LOL

  • So smart, he can predict.

  • The Dubliners - Rocky Road to Dublin

  • Where did that come from?

  • That turned me on.

  • One of my favorite scenes in the movie! Perfect song choice too.

    Robert is SO fine!

  • Like a boss

  • Bartitsu or go home.

  • Love the track so bad.

  • left the girls from tuam nearly broken hearted saluted father dear kiss me darling mother drank a pint of beer

  • Where did that come from

  • Bartitsu = AWESOME

  • @SirBurstify Can u learn it somewhere?

  • @TruthBrothers Yes. Look up Bartitsu ____ (Your area) you should find somewhere near, where do you live? (State/Territory etc)

  • @SirBurstify Well in sweden, in a town called örebro, and so far i've been unsuccessful and finding anything

  • That song... is AWESOME!!!

  • Sherlock practice fuckin Wing chun!!!

  • @Queenbg1 Uh...that's not Wing Chun.

  • @andrewames247 of course not ;) but kind of similar moves: blocking and attacking from inside..

  • In summary: ears ringing, jaw fractured, 3 ribs cracked, 4 broken, diaphram hemmoraging.

Physical recovery: six weeks. Full phsyocoligical recovery: 6 months. Capacity to spit at back of head: neutralized.

  • Even though Sherlock's an Englishman, he dishes out whoop ass like a scot.

  • Looks a lot like Dim Mak.

  • Am I right in thinking that what he just did whent exactly according to his plan?

  • @eipeelowkey69 Yes, it did. If you watch how his hands and arms move, you'll find out that they match point for point.

  • Discombobulate.

  • Owned.

  • I love this movie and this was a particularly badass scene.

  • I do the same shit every time i stare at a new vagina.

  • I am so glad they expanded on this type of fighting in Game of Shadows

  • Is still fine! Srry!!!

  • I luv this song!!! Rocky road to Dublin!!! But can someone tell me who sings this version cause been looking for it and can't find it!!! Thanks!!! P.s. Even though Robert downy jr is kinda old, he us still fine!

  • @llamaliscious234 the dubliners - just search rocky road to dublin sherlock holmes

  • I once had a dream where I could think like that.

If only my dreams predicted the future...

  • I'd love to know if somebody actually has the capacity to fight like this in reality. It'd be pretty interesting to see, no doubt about it.

  • Song?

  • @Grindsomeflour Rocky Road to Dublin by The Dubliners

  • he was fighting like bruce lee or some shit

  • Roses are pens,

    Violets are gnomes,

    I got discombobulated

    By Sherlock Holmes

    ^_^

  • Oh sure you think it's going to work that way. I got in a fight and figured in my head that I'd leave the guy with a bloody nose and busted knee, 8 seconds later I'm on the ground with his boot up my ass.

  • I can't think of a more fitting music

  • whats the name of the song

  • Bartitsu. Its even in one of Doyles' stories about Sherlock. As far as this movie's choreography being predominately Wing Chun...probably as Downey Jr. has said he is studying it. I don't know. But Bartitsu has Boxing, Savate, Wrestling, Jujitsu and cane fighting for sure. In fact this movie did much to bolster it.

  • @HandRpuffin Bartitsu is also very, VERY similar to Panantukan, which probably stems from Wing Chun as well

  • @RyanLuckyNinko Is that similar to Mano Mano?

  • @HandRpuffin I have no clue what that is. If you mean the spanish translation, then yes

  • I can hear the man losing a little more of his dignity every time Sherlock slaps him around.

  • One, two, three four, five,

Hunt the Hare and turn her down the rocky road

all the way to Dublin, Whack follol de rah !

  • this is wing chun kungfu.

  • Alright, love. Cool,

  • Benedict Cumberbatch > Robert Downey Jr

  • @shinobijikininki

I think as an overall Sherlock he's slightly better. Still not 100% sure on where I stand on it, though.

  • That music :D

  • The Rocky Road To Dublin. Thumbs up if you know what i'm talking about.

  • Way the song called

  • Discombobulate.. Best word EVAR!!!!!

  • this movie is puke

  • @sivko23 and so are you my friend :)

  • @sivko23 We know you don't really mean that :)

  • What annoyed me so much about this is that it totally ignores Holmes' entire character. There is absolutely no pretense of DEDUCTIVE reasoning worked into his thinking, which is half his character. Nevermind that his fighting background is supposed to be in boxing and variations on Japanese Judo (NOT karate) the inner thought monologue should have been about Holmes reading, and deducing the OPPONENT's movements, not about him narrating his own moves just before he does them.

  • @Taurantia i dont know that much about sherlock holmes. I havent seen the movie. Are the books good? And does he fight?

  • @BCete Holmes doesn't really fight more than once or twice in the books. In the story the Final Problem he leaves a note mentioning having practiced "Baritsu or the Japanese art of wrestling" but Baritsu is not a thing. Bartitsu on the other hand is and was a mixedmartial art incorporating Judo, Jujitsu, and stick fighting among other things. Search it here on youtube, you should find a brief history video. There's a group trying to make the style popular again.

  • @Taurantia okay. Sounds cool :D

  • @Taurantia But Holmes does have a history of fighting in underground boxing rings like this. I can't remember which story it is but there's one story where he and Watson come across a prize fighter he met in the ring once who says Holmes really gave him a run for his money.

  • Comment removed

  • @Taurantia

You'll like Benedict Cumberbatch's Holmes far better then (if you've never seen him). He DOES absolutely beat the hell out of a man, but he deduces how he does it, essentially like you wanted. He does it quickly, but there was no countering or blocking, no particular martial arts involved. He just calculates how to most harm a man and then does it.

  • Some1 throw him the iron man suitcase xD
