I'm certain it's Gavin Hastings. I even recall the match. 1991 3rd place playoff. Stuck the kiwi Richard Low on his arse (playing in white as they were the "home" team in the match). Also the fact it looks identical to Hastings and not like Lima. Furthermore this is a British TV intro where all the Home Nations are invariably represented. You think they'd choose Samoa over Scotland?
