Could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a lesson on how to play ''For Taking the Trouble'' from the acoustic cd ''Love is strange'' ????

I have been trying for ages to get it and I manage a little to get some chords but I can't manage to work out completlty how to play this song and there's nothing on the internet, no tabs no chords nothing.

  • awesome man. thanks!

  • You say you can't sing... but when a person fells and love the song, it's all good. And.... your voice isn't bad at all!!!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I have recently started learning and in many casses re-learning songs I have loved my whole life. Your lesson sounds true to the original.

  • No, you can't sing...BUT like so many posts before me, I learn so much, so fast from your vids. I didn't come here to learn to sing...cuz I'm worserest than you. I came here to learn how to play and best of all, you teach us stuff that we've been listening to for years in some cases. You're the best bro!

One request: how about some Knopfler? Hill Farmers Blues maybe? Thanks for all you do and keep it up.

  • Hey, thank you for the lesson. It was very helpful and I can now play it with the double drop D tuning. Good job.

  • very helpful. thank you. i wonder if jackson doesn't play it flat. sounds that way on the album/youtube vids....

  • great lesson, thx for posting

  • This is Great!!!

Any Chance you do These Daya or too Many Angels?

  • Thanks for the post. I've been trying to figure this song out for a week in drop D. Your lesson was very helpful.

  • You are a great teacher! I love this song and have the book but I watch you and I have it down in 10 minutes! Great job. I will look for your other stuff. Thank you.

    thanks a lot

  • great work...finally got it down.

if you could show us 'something fine',that be the bomb...never found out what jackson is playing there.

  • Ohmigosh... thanks... how much do I owe you?

Trying to find all the open tuning chords drives me nuts. You ended 15 years of frustration of me trying to figure this out.

  • appreciate your lesson. Can you also the finger pick. I would love if you can give a tutorial on Jackson Browne "These Days" thanks

  • Yes that's in Open D tuning. If you check out my video for My Stunning Mystery Companion you'll see what chords he uses for Bright Baby Blues as well.

  • Yeah your a good teacher! Any chance you know Bright baby blues, or at least the tuning? thanks

  • Just to let you know, I posted that song for you in open D today.
