People bitch about living indoors in the summer in AZ but I have a news flash for you...everyone in the midwest spends the same time, if not more, indoors because of the bitter cold. @AmrcnHstryX I'm from the Iowa. I lived 18 years there and winter is my favorite season. I do recall in elementary school in the spring being allowed to finally go to recess without coats when the temperature got to 60. I understand what you're saying though.

Unfortuneatly for me, my husband loves it here and I may never escape this hell hole. Arizona is on Mountain time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 Days a year... Arizona is never on Pacififc time... It gets really cold here in the winters, and it only goes over 105 is in around June or July, I flee to Colorado during that time... crazy drivers? Yes, but, we're phsyco drivers here and we've learned to deal with each other, so its kinda normal for us... as for the bugs, do you live in the trailor park? No one but people who live way out in the desert have "Problems" with bugs...

Growing up in Iowa, 40 degrees as an average low (according to az.gov) is not cold. Also according to az.gov, average high temps are in the 100s from June to August and I've experienced them into September. In Arizona (according to azleg.state.az.us (the arizona state legislature)), aggressive driving has increased by 7% every year since 1990.

I lived in a small town in MI. called Novi, much like Gilbert minus the bugs. My Told me Higley high has no lockers and I was blown away. He is a freshman and hates it. I am in the williamsfield/Higley area. I was also almost hit in Scottsdale by a non driving ass dude on his cell phone. The bugs here are like none other, Crickets, Earwigs, Spiders you name it!
