well they couldn't play some parts of it. but ironicly playing with your feet on an organ pedal board was normal at bach's time and now..... but we made a giant one for some reason

Actually, it does change octaves at the beginning. The first statement starts on A4 and A5, then drops to A3 and A4, and then ends with a final statement beginning on A2 and A3. Therefore, music does indeed changes octaves. I can provide a score if you want "musical" proof. And for those that don't know the numbers, C4 is middle C; work from that (number denoting octave).
