I had an '84 1100R, over the years it got ex-K. Ballington Dymags and discs, 16'' front wheel, Kerker (natch), Lockheed calipers, Gpz alloy swing arm and lots of other trick little bits. Got the weight down to 460lb. Went well after the diet!
@yamahadt400 Those were the days of proper big muscle bikes..I love the old bikes. I only had a tingy GPZ 550 UNI trak, but had a 750 turbo motor that was tuned to the nines. ZXR 400 front suspension and front and back wheels with a JMC arm. Rear tail light was removed and worked into the tail piece. Exhaust was a one off by same friend that did the head and turbo work. MAd almost dubble the power the stock 750 did.

I used to own a Kawasaki Z1100R (1989 to 1994) and this is the way they are to be ridden :-)
Mine had a box JMC and a Harris 4-1, plus a few other mods etc.
Love these bikes and so regret selling mine.
I live in Australia and i am after another. Who's selling?
