For all of you who are not in the Los Angeles area, what you see is basically UCLA in a nut shell: two white people and a million Asians. UCLA -- University of Caucasians Lost among Asians. Yes, I am a UCLA alumni and no, I am not prejudiced against Asians, just stating the obvious.

They think that if they have a various types of Asians (i.e Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc) that makes them diversified as a university. UCLA has like 12 black students and all of them play sports, no joke.

@misterphelps well technically I think the school incorporates Indians and Pakistanis into their "Asian" demographic, it inflates the %-tage even higher. Honest to God I saw no blacks during the entire 4 years I was there. I don't know if the school is actively looking for asians. it's just that whole area is so saturated. Asians apply, they have the grades, they get in.
