@mythbusters Nikola Tesla caused the 1899 Cape Yakataga and Yakutat bay earthquakes, with The Knob Hill Apparatus from his Colorado Springs lab. That is why he spent his last ten years and died in Room #3327. 3h03m27s on September 3, 1899. A second divisible by 3, in a minute divisible by 3, in an hour divisible by 3, on a day divisible by 3, in a month divisible by 3, in a year divisible by 3 TIMES THREE. And for Christ's sake it was Earthquake Milne Shide No. 333
@slaveshipmutiny THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS THE USGS VERBATIM. They lasted 27 days—September 3 to 29, 1899—and included four or five world-shaking disturbances and hundreds of minor shocks. During four weeks there was almost constant palpitation of this part of the earth's crust. The shocks were most severe on September 3, 10, and 23, and were great on the 15th, 17th, 26th, and 29th. On the 10th there were over 50 small shocks and two world-shaking disturbances.
interesting video. It would be more credible if you provided links to all of your research on this matter rather than just putting out this well made catchy video. I am actually slightly prone to believing what you claim with this but would like to see much more info on the matter. Thanks
@slaveshipmutiny Right on. Thanks for having an ear. I have indexed millions of pages on this Tesla made earthquakes matter and there is irrefutable evidence compiled. 1. Your reference to an argument over the number 616 as opposed to 666 stems from the discovery of a fragment of the "oldest" New Testament manuscript recording Revelation 13:18. THAT IS "IN THE BIBLE" THAT MEANS...
@robertgift Tesla made earthquakes inverting the current meant for the elevator of Gillender at timed intervals grounded into the hard-pan of Manhattan with essentialy electricaly the same "foundation" he recreated at Wardenclyffe. I win. -Biblical Prophet
dude your still droning on about this shit? Chill the fuck out. You sit here and claim that your the antichrist because your social is 666. Do you even fucking realize that the devils number is actually 616? do some fucking reading and basic math.
@Flabbergast101 BY ATTACKING ME WITH YOUR INSULT AND YOUR MISTAKEN ARGUMENT YOU SINGLE HANDEDLY GAVE ME THE WIN AND PROVED your fucktardedness.
Not to mention classically revealing the lack of substance in your own education in this epic blunder engraving yourself as a hypocrite. - Biblical Prophet ( I spit the fire of truth from the lord your god and you better fucking listen bitches, Tesla made earthquakes)
@thealexjoneschannel@rushlimbaugh@cnn I am writing this here today to tell you once again the biggest secret in the history of the world. A secret so big it will alter your perception of reality forever. It will not only change your view of the entire world but this, my highly unlikely Babe Ruth shot for powers that be, will forever own your awe as it's full realization commands and receives it's place in the Holy Canon. Beyond epic... simply Biblical. -Biblical Prophet will say I told you so
"Suddenly all the heavy machinery in the place was flying around. I grabbed a hammer and broke the machine. The building would have been about our ears in another few minutes. Outside in the street there was pandemonium."The police and ambulances arrived. I told my assistants to say nothing. We told the police it must have been an earthquake. That's all they ever knew about it." -Nikola Tesla
@robertgift@teslamotors@teslasociety A reporter asked Dr. Tesla at this point what he would need to destroy the Empire State Building and the doctor replied: "Vibration will do anything. It would only be necessary to step up the vibrations of the machine to fit the natural vibration of the building and the building would come crashing down. That's why soldiers break step crossing a bridge."
Allan L. Benson: World Today ( February 1912 ); "Nikola Tesla, Dreamer" ~ An illustration for the article shows an artist's conception of the planet splitting in two. The caption reads: "Tesla claims that in a few weeks he could set the earth's crust into such a state of vibration that it would rise and fall hundreds of feet and practically destroy civilization. A continuation of this process would, he says, eventually split the earth in two."
Well, first of all, the next time you speak with me, speak with decency. Otherwise I´m not going to respond anymore.
It is suprising to me that you didn´t know that. Almost every person I know knows about that fact. If you disagree with me, type Tesla Earthquake Machine or something. I´ve got over 87.000 thousand results. Infact I did not know that is was such a great mystery. But this is again no proof that Tesla caused an earthquake here nor there.

@robertgift The 1899 Yakutat Bay earthquakes involved a series of events that were widelyfelt during a period of 26 days extending from September 4th to 29th. Hundreds of shocks were felt locally, and 4 or 5 events were recorded worldwide.
@robertgift Go easy on the guy. What did he say anyway? TESLA MADE EARTHQUAKES! The larger September 10thevent, which climaxed the sequence, occurred on a day during which more than 50shocks were felt in the Yakutat Bay area, five of which were felt 300 km to the northeaston the Yukon River.
@robertgift "An eruption of Mount Wrangell, during the Icy Bay earthquake (magnitude 8.3) of September 4, 1899 was recorded by the chief quartermaster, Copper Center region. Both men claimed they saw an eruptive plume over the summit and lava flowing down the northwest flank immediately following the earthquake." The guide, A.M. Powell, reported that Mount Wrangell steamed profusely just after a great earthquake and continued to 'smoke with unusual animation for the rest of the season"
@robertgift Well I am not familiar with the details of how big the consequences might be. But I know, that he tested it on some bridge. Again, I am not trying to keeping a discussion up here about, what Tesla did or not. I just want to understand, why the title of this clip is called "The Biblical Prophet"? And why the hell, does Insightllc still thinks that showing some stuff about Tesla makes him the prophet? Wouldn´t it be much more logical, if he could provide evidence from the bible? xD
@dragonstyle88 I will provide evidence from the bible. From Revelation Tesla set it up that way. Mark my words. P.S. If you don't subscribe to my channel you will have the mark. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@dragonstyle88 Don't sweat it Dragonstyle88. Robert Gift is well educated ringer most likely a well paid disinformation officer at Sandia for Los Alamos National Laboratories. Robert Gift told my six months ago the cops were gonna kick my door in when that didn't happen he said his wife was a lawyer and he was initiating a defamation lawsuit for abusive trolling on youtube. My Grandpa worked and consulted there. My Grandpa told me when he died that Nikola Tesla made earthquakes.
@insightllc hahaha. You are one of the most hillarious guys ive ever seen man. I really missed it hearing from your fairy tales. Now tell me man, how come you think that you´re a "biblical" prophet?^^ any proves from the bible?
@dragonstyle88 Christmas Eve, 2009 I dreamed my cat was being eaten by a bird snake and I went to save her and I was too tired and this voice in my dream said it was okay that she was part of the tree of life and he "the voice" was kind of a dick about it or very curt like a mean football coach... when I woke... she was dead for real... with six Arizona Turkey Vultures on my far back fence on an acre lot. The Lord Your God wants you to know that Nikola Tesla made earthquakes... not a cat person
@dragonstyle88 The weird thing about it is that I was a very vocal atheist before the incident where God proved his existence to me beyond a shadow of doubt with death in the tree of life. -Tesla made earthquakes and I will prove it and this world will recognize these facts. I am the horseman. I am the cowboy. I am his witness. @robertgift

P.S. My Social Security Number is Six Hundred and Sixty-Six.
The previous record of $700 was paid several years earlier for a lot on the southeast corner of Broadway and Wall Street. The cost at the time was calculated by the size of the 25- by 73-foot parcel, not by the building's total square feet or the buildable feet. Using today's pricing method, the $1.5 million paid for the approximately 31,000-square-foot tower would be considered about $48 per foot.
@CaravanOfHate1 At the time of its completion in 1897 the 273 feet (83 meters) tall Earthquake Machine was, depending on ranking methods, the fourth or the eighth tallest structure in New York as well as being Tesla's earthquake machine. -Your bank bought an earthquake in 1899, financed the earthquake machine in 1901 that caused Tunguska and then bought the original earthquake machine for $1,500,000 in 1910
@robertgift Like other tsunamis, this one started when the sea began to withdraw. However, this tsunami was unusual because it was caused by a quake below an accretionary wedge, which is a shallow area. The trench was estimated to be 50 kilometers wide with a movement along the fault of about 5.7 meters.

1.) What idiot told you so? 2.) Why are you stupid enough to believe it?
Well, if you believe thathe Bible is sacred and thathere are Biblical Prophets (or any kind of real prophets) then you are a sucker and will believe anything without proof. Enjoy living in your fantasy world of make believe.
@robertgift 2010 September 3, anniversary earthquake New Zealand chimneys and walls crumbled to the ground, roads cracked in half and residents were knocked off their feet as a powerful magnitude-7.1 Tesla earthquake rocked the South Island. No one was killed.
@robertgift Tesla's first weather machine The Gillender Building was praised as an engineering novelty, "one of the wonders of the city". It attracted attention for a visible disproportion of height and footprint but was very stealth as a weapon of mass destruction.
@robertgift ten by twelve feet goes down about one hundred and twenty feet and this was first covered with timber was a big shaft again through which the current was to pass, and this shaft was so figured in order to tell exactly where the nodal point is, so that I could calculate every point of distance. For instance I could calculate exactly the size of the earth or the diameter of the earth and measure it exactly within four feet with that machine.
@robertgift No. Bet it. Bet the farm Rob. Tesla's first Earthquake Machine was the famous Gillender Building, erected twelve years before J.P. Morgan bought it and tore it down to OJ the evidence and build his temple. Bought it and built on the earthquake machine foundation northwest corner of Nassau and Wall Streets it was called the tallest skyscraper in the world, its tower rising some 300 feet above the streets, has gone the way of other landmarks.
HOWEVER! One could trigger a release using a powerful explosion at an idealocation, or even lubricating friction-bound plates with water or other liquid.
An atomic bomb close enough to a stressed fault could trigger a release.
@robertgift No, actually dams are known to cause man made earthquakes. Liquid like you mentioned. Buildings have been known to cause earthquakes without Tesla as well as underground nuclear testing. Man-Made earthquakes are fact. They are fact. So why are you so dead set against earthquakes made by Tesla. Tesla himself said he made earthquakes. I think you objection to my opinion has a deeper meaning... either...
@robertgift You are mealy mouthing then. You could weaponize the tactic and call it a machine. Tesla's oscillator was not simply a new practical device, but an implement of scientific research.
@robertgift Your interest in my posting is either because it is really simple and inexpensive to make far worse weapons than we know exist... and you are lying to protect a world for their own good...
@robertgift With the oscillator, he had actually determined the earth's electrical charge or “capacity,” he had obtained striking effects which conclusively demonstrated that he had succeeded in disturbing it.
@robertgift He connected to the earth, by one of its ends, a coil in which rapidly vibrating currents are produced, the other end being free in space.
@robertgift Well lets just start with statistics before we're sweating tuition... what are the chances an event, any event would happen on a day divisible by three... in a month divisible by three... in a year divisible by three? All repeated acts or operations I performed had to be divisible by three and if I missed I felt impelled to do it all over again, even if it took hours... Robert, what are the chances a n event falls on a day divisible by 3 in a month divisible by 3 year divisible by 3?
@robertgift It was evident that such a ball "earth", if filled with air "displaced static current", would, when suddenly expanded or contracted, vibrate at its own rate.
@robertgift Now if the pumps of the pump be so timed that they are in harmony with the individual vibrations of the ball "earth", an intense vibration or surging can be obtained.
@robertgift An observer mounted on a chair, and touching the coil with a metal rod, can, by careful adjustments, divert enough of it upon himself to cause its manifestation from and around him in splinters of light.
@robertgift Tesla's temerity in trying the effect first upon his own person can be justified only by his close and accurate calculation of what the amount of the discharge from the earth would be.
@robertgift Considering that in the adjustments necessary here, a small length of wire or a small body of any kind added to the coil or brought into its vicinity may destroy entirely all effect, one can imagine the pleasure which the investigator feels when thus rewarded by unique phenomena.
@robertgift Or, because a hundred years or so ago... some nearsighted Masons thought the neatest secret ever would be the "earthquake" job security machine.
@robertgift Busted. I'm actually referring to symbolic bricks. The metaphor is "rebuilding" in general. Tell me in private if this is just dangerous. I know he made earthquakes. I know you are lying about it. I know my actions bother you. I will not give up. Tesla made earthquakes
@robertgift Trowbridge and Livingston are the architects for the 39-story Bankers' Trust Building which will take the place of the Gillender Building, and Messrs. Marc Eidlitz & Son are the contractors, to whom the writer gives his thanks.
@robertgift It would seem that if the columns had been encased and filled with wet concrete there would have been little danger of rust, and they could thus have been easily protected from electrolysis. Oil or oil paints should not be placed on steel to be thus encased.
@robertgift This building had been erected by first-class contractors and with first-class materials; and although the rusting had not yet made the building unsafe, there is no telling how soon it would have become so.
@robertgift The worst rusting of all was from the sixth floor down, on the northeast corner, where the columns had been against the adjoining building, on the north side. The cover-plates of these columns looked as if they had never been painted, but had stood in the open, exposed to all weather, for six or seven years. On these columns one-half, in volume, of many rivet heads could easily be removed.
@robertgift From the top to the bottom, wherever the spaces between the brick and steel were filled with Portland cement mortar, there was no rusting, but, wherever the mortar did not fill such spaces completely, rusting had begun. Generally, the under sides of the top and bottom flanges of the floor-beams had begun to show rust, while the web and upper surfaces, having been in contact with mortar, were in good condition.
@robertgift The Gillender Building, a seventeen-story structure at the northwest corner of Wall and Nassau streets, New York City, was built in 1896, and removed in 1910.
When built, all the columns were encased in solid brickwork. The steelwork received one coat of paint in the shop and two after erection, but on removal, showed little evidence of ever having been painted at all.
@robertgift Massive cornices above the second and third floors visually separated the lower levels from the clean wall surface stretching above up until the fourteenth floor; starting from the ninth floor, it gradually re-acquired ornaments and arched windows as if in anticipation of the ornate Italian Baroque cupola above.
@robertgift Why call me a coward? My actions are far from that. Answer my question. What are the odds any event is on a day divisible by 3, in a month divisible by 3, in a year divisible by 3?
@robertgift I am going to show you something since you know LANL earthquakes so well.
8.2 Sept. 4, 1899 Near Cape Yakataga, Alaska
8.7 Sept. 10, 1899 Yakutat Bay, Alaska 1899
7.9 Oct. 9, 1900 Kodiak Island, Alaska
THREE OF THE TOP 12 EARTHQUAKES IN U.S. HISTORY ARE THE SAME EVENT. THAT IS A FACT. THIS ONE EVENT HAD MANY MORE SHOCKS THAN THESE THREE. THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF MAJOR EARTHQUAKES FROM SEPTEMBER 3 - SEPTEMBER 29 IN 1899.
@robertgift The San Francisco Examiner for September 25, 1899, contains a letter sent from Yakutat, Alaska, September 17, by the Reverend Sheldon Jack-
son, giving a vivid account of a series of earthquake shocks beginning September 3 and still continuing at the date of writing
@robertgift The first shock occurred September 3, and there were shocks at intervals until September 10, when, at 9.20 a m. they began to be alarming. There were 52 shocks, culminating in one of great violence at 3 p m. The land swayed, the waters of the bay rose and fell 8 to 10 feet every few minutes, and violent eddies were set up in the harbor, washing into the sea an Indian burial ground at Port Mulgrave, opposite Yakutat.
It is a well known fact that Tesla's earthquake shocks in September, 1899, did such damage to the Muir glacier on Glacier bay, 140 miles southeast of Yakutat, as to render access to it impossible by the tourist steamers for almost a decade.
@robertgift The Harriman expedition visited the inlet in June, 1899, three months before the main earthquakes, but right on time for the rained out 4th of July Kodiak Island earthquake J.P. Morgan and Nikola Tesla conpired to manufacture. • Harriman Alaska Expedition, vol. lv, 1904, pp. 125-146. t Nat. Geog. Mag., vol. til, 1801, pp. 53-203.
@robertgift Compared with the historic changes of level associated with definite earthquakes, the Yakutat Bay deformation therefore stands conspicuous. It is apparently the greatest historical change of level (47 feet 4 inches at the maximum);
@robertgift Back to what I was saying... I would really like to hear your significance of being divisible by 28. Finish what you said if it's not to revealing. The chances a moment, the second, is divisible by three in a minute divisible by three in an hour divisible by three on a day divisible by three in a month divisible by three in a year divisible by three in very slim. In Yakutat, he did it twice. September 3, 1899 3:03:27 p.m. epicenter time on earthquake no. 333
@robertgift Because you are sworn to uphold a Masonic secret. Unknowingly a freemason secret originally established not to hide free energy or even a century old weapon for our own good... like you Knight's Templar Rose Cross tradition but simply a secret established to hide the fact that J.P. Morgan and Nikola Tesla conspired to make an earthquake at Kodiak Island for a slippery bastard hunting a bear... E.H. Harriman and his big scientific Harriman Expedition.
@robertgift Nevertheless, the phenomena involved with the eventual placement of Nikola Tesla's achievements underground and the mysterious removal of his name from many history books has been explained. Tesla made earthquakes. J.P. Morgan bought an earthquake and an earthquake machine and financed another. Tunguska was a bitch move on Tesla's part. J.P. Morgan bought the ark of the covenant and built Solomon's Temple at 14 Wall St. The view from which is your youtube profile photo.
@robertgift Owing to some interference of the oscillations, veritable balls of fire are apt to leap out to a great distance, and if any one were within or near their paths, he would be instantly destroyed. A machine such as I have used could easily kill, in an instant, three hundred thousand persons. I observed that the strain upon my assistants was telling, and some of them could not endure the extreme tension of the nerves. Tesla caused Tunguska... Einstein is a figurehead... the Queen is not?
@robertgift Well infact he was able to make earthquakes. The only thing that I do not understand is why insightllc is still thinking, he is an biblical prophet. :D
@robertgift Well, first of all, the next time you speak with me, speak with decency.
@robertgift The two largest shocks of the day were recorded on seismographsaround the world. The earlier large shock of Ms7.4, at about 8:00 a.m. local time was feltat distances of up to 400 km. The main shock, at 12:22 p.m. local time, was everywhere reported as the greatest disturbance of the series. It was felt to distances of 700 km fromYakutat Bay—somewhat less than the event of September 4th.
@robertgift I am not a coward. My bank financed earthquake machines. If it's Julian, he did 09-09-99 9:09:09 for the Greg calendar on August 27, 1899 the first witness reports in Alaska.
@robertgift Now, the chances any event falls on a day divisible by three is "one in three" or 33.3%. The chances that it takes place in a month divisible by three are "1 in 3" again or 33.3% times 33.3% makes it "1 in 9"
@robertgift The New York Times erroneously called Tesla's first earthquake machine the Gillender the "highest office structure in the world" although the earlier Manhattan Life Insurance Building (1894) was taller at Berg and Clerk followed the Italian rule of triple vertical partitioning: expensive decoration was limited to the three bottom floors (what the pedestrians see from the street) and the upper two floors and the crowning tower.
@robertgift Structurally, Tesla's earthquake machine was based on fully wind-braced steel frame with masonry infill. The main volume of the tower rose to without setbacks, with a three-storey cupola crown reaching
@robertgift Architecturally, Tesla's earthquake weapon, the Gillender Building, was originally designed by Charles I. Berg and Edward H. Clark, belonged to "a series of elegant towers in various classical modes erected in New York in the 1890s" and is now considered "a notable example" of its period
hahahaha i showed my brother and sister in-law my machine. i said watch this, you feel that? they replied yes. brother wants one for the bed not sure why lol. i said i don't run it for long periods anymore as earthquakes seem to happen after it runs for hours. maybe coindence. that varible speed control does seem to be the trick. i know what i seen on my ipod. building of waves unbuilding repeating in the same pattern. like ringing a bell.later chris
@teslacoil An inverting assembly with an adjustable frequency was finally perfected, and by 1896, Tesla was causing trouble with it in and near the neighborhood around his loft laboratory knowingly and unknowingly global disasters as far away as Japan.
@teslamotors He set the frequency in "tune" with the link. For a long time nothing happened; frequency of machine and link did not seem to coincide, but at last they did and the great steel began to tremble, increased its trembling until it expanded and contracted like a beating heart; and finally broke.
@Gillender Fishermen from Honshu, Japan, near the Port of Sanriku were out to sea on their boats about 20 miles off the coast. They did not notice anything amiss. Waves near them were only fifteen inches, much less than the 80 foot wave that destroyed Sanriku. The fishermen returned to port to find the ocean littered with the ruins of homes and the corpses of their friends and loved ones scattered among the debris.
Sledge hammers couldn't have done it; crowbars couldn't have done it, but a fusillade of electrical taps, no one of which would have harmed a baby, did it.
Down in the Wall Street district, on Wall Street... he found the construction site of the half-erected Gillender Building; ten stories of steel framework without a brick or a stone laid around it.
Tesla said finally the Gillender Building began to creak and weave and the steel-workers came to the ground panic-stricken, believing that there had been an earthquake. Police were called out.
Ten minutes more and he could have laid the building in the street. And, with the same vibrator he could have dropped the Brooklyn Bridge into the East River in less than an hour.
This idea was actually adapted for use by the petroleum industry, and is used today in a modified form with devices used to locate objects at archaelogical digs.
Even before he had mentioned the invention to anyone he was already scaring the local populace around his loft laboratory. Although this story may be apocryphal, it has been cited in more than one biography:
The pandemonium didn't go unnoticed in the local precinct house where prisoners panicked and police officers fought to keep coffee and donuts from flying off desks.
Turning to them with accustomed old-world aplomb, he apoligized calmly: "Gentlemen, I am sorry. You are just a trifle too late to witness my experiment. I found it necessary to stop it suddenly and unexpectedly in an unusual way.
Interesting, it is clear that Tesla was an unusual man with his experiments.

Robert, what are the chances a n event falls on a day divisible by 3 in a month divisible by 3 year divisible by 3?
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift With the coil and the earth, he did actually what one would be doing with a pump forcing air into an elastic football.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift At each alternate stroke the ball "earth" would expand and contract.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift It was evident that such a ball "earth", if filled with air "displaced static current", would, when suddenly expanded or contracted, vibrate at its own rate.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift Now if the pumps of the pump be so timed that they are in harmony with the individual vibrations of the ball "earth", an intense vibration or surging can be obtained.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift The currents which are made to pass in and out of the earth by means of this coil can also be directed upon the human body.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift An observer mounted on a chair, and touching the coil with a metal rod, can, by careful adjustments, divert enough of it upon himself to cause its manifestation from and around him in splinters of light.

@robertgift Tesla's temerity in trying the effect first upon his own person can be justified only by his close and accurate calculation of what the amount of the discharge from the earth would be.
insightllc 1 year ago

@robertgift It would seem that if the columns had been encased and filled with wet concrete there would have been little danger of rust, and they could thus have been easily protected from electrolysis. Oil or oil paints should not be placed on steel to be thus encased.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift This building had been erected by first-class contractors and with first-class materials; and although the rusting had not yet made the building unsafe, there is no telling how soon it would have become so.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift The worst rusting of all was from the sixth floor down, on the northeast corner, where the columns had been against the adjoining building, on the north side. The cover-plates of these columns looked as if they had never been painted, but had stood in the open, exposed to all weather, for six or seven years. On these columns one-half, in volume, of many rivet heads could easily be removed.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift From the top to the bottom, wherever the spaces between the brick and steel were filled with Portland cement mortar, there was no rusting, but, wherever the mortar did not fill such spaces completely, rusting had begun. Generally, the under sides of the top and bottom flanges of the floor-beams had begun to show rust, while the web and upper surfaces, having been in contact with mortar, were in good condition.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift The Gillender Building, a seventeen-story structure at the northwest corner of Wall and Nassau streets, New York City, was built in 1896, and removed in 1910.
When built, all the columns were encased in solid brickwork. The steelwork received one coat of paint in the shop and two after erection, but on removal, showed little evidence of ever having been painted at all.
insightllc 1 year ago

7.9 Oct. 9, 1900 Kodiak Island, Alaska
THREE OF THE TOP 12 EARTHQUAKES IN U.S. HISTORY ARE THE SAME EVENT. THAT IS A FACT. THIS ONE EVENT HAD MANY MORE SHOCKS THAN THESE THREE. THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF MAJOR EARTHQUAKES FROM SEPTEMBER 3 - SEPTEMBER 29 IN 1899.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift The San Francisco Examiner for September 25, 1899, contains a letter sent from Yakutat, Alaska, September 17, by the Reverend Sheldon Jack-

the letter.
insightllc 1 year ago
@robertgift The first shock occurred September 3, and there were shocks at intervals until September 10, when, at 9.20 a m. they began to be alarming. There were 52 shocks, culminating in one of great violence at 3 p m. The land swayed, the waters of the bay rose and fell 8 to 10 feet every few minutes, and violent eddies were set up in the harbor, washing into the sea an Indian burial ground at Port Mulgrave, opposite Yakutat.

@dragonstyle88 Why do you reveal your low IQ, 88, in your screename?
No, Tesla was not able to producearthquakes.
If you believe he was able, how?

@robertgift Well, first of all, the next time you speak with me, speak with decency.

@robertgift The New York Times erroneously called Tesla's first earthquake machine the Gillender the "highest office structure in the world" although the earlier Manhattan Life Insurance Building (1894) was taller at Berg and Clerk followed the Italian rule of triple vertical partitioning: expensive decoration was limited to the three bottom floors (what the pedestrians see from the street) and the upper two floors and the crowning tower.
insightllc 1 year ago

A.L. Besnson reported a story about this device in late 1911 or early 1912 for the Hearst newspaper The World Today.

@teslatech After fastening the resonator ("no larger than an alarm clock") to a steel bar (or "link") two feet long and two inches thick:
Gillender 1 year ago

@teslasociety He put his little inverter in his coat-pocket and went out to hunt a half-erected steel building.

Down in the Wall Street district, on Wall Street... he found the construction site of the half-erected Gillender Building; ten stories of steel framework without a brick or a stone laid around it.

@Gillender Tesla was causing trouble with it in and near the neighborhood around his loft laboratory.
insightllc 1 year ago
He clamped the inverter to one of the beams, and fussed with the frequency until he got it.
Gillender 1 year ago
Tesla said finally the Gillender Building began to creak and weave and the steel-workers came to the ground panic-stricken, believing that there had been an earthquake. Police were called out.
Gillender 1 year ago
Tesla put the apparatus in his pocket and went away.
Gillender 1 year ago
Ten minutes more and he could have laid the building in the street. And, with the same vibrator he could have dropped the Brooklyn Bridge into the East River in less than an hour.
Gillender 1 year ago
Tesla claimed the device, properly modified, could be used to map underground deposits of oil.

An alternating current sent through the earth returns an "echo signature" using the same principle as sonar.

Tesla attached the device to an exposed steel girder in his brownstone, on Houston Street thinking the foundations were built on strudy granite.

Meanwhile, for blocks around, chaos reigned as objects fell off shelves, furniture moved across floors, windows shattered, and pipes broke.

The pandemonium didn't go unnoticed in the local precinct house where prisoners panicked and police officers fought to keep coffee and donuts from flying off desks.
