This is how it should've been done. Carnival Night, Ice Cap, and Launch Base's Act 2 versions were just lazily made. At least they could've been creative, but this is really nice. Great job. =)

Yeah the final soundtrack for Sonic 3 was seriously rushed so some of the act 2 versions are very poor remixes. Only really Angel island zone and Hydrocity zone stand out as excellent in act 2.

You have the same exact idea I had when I played the latter 3 zones in Sonic 3. Up until Carnival Night, every zone had a unique Act 2 mix. I'm guessing the musics for CNZ, ICZ and LBZ were made when the game was being rushed to release (Adding to the reason as to why Sonic 3 and S&K aren't one game.)
