  • @betternamestaken doubt it, the series wasn't really about the creature. The creature was just the crisis, this was a human story. Doing a sequel would ruin it. I think it's perfect just the way it is! Except for that dialogue with the MIB's at the end, that was awful so implausible that the guy would straight up admit to twisting the facts, and terrible acting by those two as well.

  • Great script-writing

  • This was good, really good. But what was the monster? How did he come to be what he was? Good show though, started watching last week and I'm glad I did

  • its from outer space that energy from power plant got transforemd a alien suspect to eatrh u know

  • Ok, look at episode 23 and you will see I called it. DUH. When will these guys leave the dead alone? We needed to see the monster come out of that doorway. The fakeout didn't work. Good show though.

  • Nice ending. Good movie when all the episodes are combined. Comprable to several more commercial releases. Interesting monster suit, neet and simple and just vauge enough that it could have been an alien or some military experiment or just your average mutant from out of no-where. Ending was a little too "Government Secret/MIB-ish" but otherwise played out well.

  • The government is, in a sense, the same as the creature. The creature has long been the metaphor for the destructive lust for power-- it is mirrored in David's dad, in Steve, and finally, in the agents themselves. Thus, the nature of the creature is unimportant, but the reaction to it-- the belief that the government "has the power" to "tell whatever story" they want to is its own incarnation of the creature. So the creature is compelling-- it is David's father, Steve, even David himself.

  • The explanation was exposition, and played as such. The Agents gave in wayy to easily. They would have started by trying to make him believe a cover story, and then you can make that not work and THEN launch into the "you can't do this" bit.

And why was the creature there? What did it want in the first place? A key to having a strong film, is having a strong antagonist character. If you go, "Oh, well, he's an alien so he's evil and kills people", then it's no better than a teen slasher film

  • the thing I don't understand is that some episodes had 400,000+ views and some had just 2,000 views

  • Great show! A few plot holes, but I was thoroughly entertained and the little cliffhangers kept me on the edge of my seat :)

  • This was a great series. I'm really liking the short webseries im finding around, this one was pretty damn good. Great job you guys.

  • YES! SHE LIVES!

    GREAT series. awesome job.

  • Yeah..:D

But why didn't they kiss? :(

    I want a kiss!!

  • lol i wanted one too!!

  • YEAH! I agree.

  • the monster was a skinny guy in a latex costume :)

  • no, actually, it was all most completely CGI...

  • When CGI becomes indistinguishable from "a skinny guy in a latex suit," then what is the point of using CGI? I liked the series in a lot of ways, but a bi-pedal humanoid is a poor choice for CGI. It could have been much more creative. It also appears for no reason and kills for no recognizable reason. It has no origin and isn't even an allegory for corporate greed, government corruption or human hubris. The "unusual things happen all the time" explanation fails horribly.

  • i think you need to make another series like they find eggs or stuff like that

ya they should have at the end they find eggs then david like "Oh Crap"

Or "Here We Go Again" L0lz

  • I give this series a 5 out of 5!

I wish they had told us what the monster was though...

  • Wow. This was pretty good! There were some shots that bugged me in the series as a whole... I noticed one jump shots and a few others seemed too bright or dark for the setting they were in... but this was a really great production! I just watched all of them and I have to say I'm impressed! Looking forward to more webserials. :)

  • two thumbs up "WEBSERIALS"

i enjoyed the show very much...

i guess i found this just in time lol, i was able to watch every episode back to back... :)

only one thing was buggin me...

the main charecter David looks like Jeff Gordon so i was laughin to my self a lil bit...lol

  • same here i didnt have to wait for each one to come out.

  • woooow sweet

  • that was a great ending to it 5/5

  • Nice quality, what camera did you guys use?

  • Was an alright series. Episode "run like hell" was teh best

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!brillance 5 effen starz!!!!!

  • Great guys.... Youtube is great place to start up & improve your talents... you guys lucky... keep rollin'.......

  • great job guys amazing series, but they never told us what it was! D=

  • so how did both of them survive the explosion.. kinda of stupid but o well..

  • great job guys, good script, actors, just more money for special effects and go to warner bros or so...

  • Good Series. Interesting Characters. I agree with some of the other comments that it needed more action at time and less emotional shmaltziness. Otherwise it was fun to watch..good job.

  • did ian die, or was it that other guy?

  • Good work. I was entertained throughout and you kept the suspense and drama heightened. Very well put together, though not perfect. A good series overall though.

  • not a scratch on him ? what the hell.

  • so when season 2 is coming lol

  • Excellent work by all! Yes it ay need afew pointers taken on board but for what i have just seen of all 24 episodes i am a happy fan and will keep an eye out on the next series you guys do!!

    Quality work guys!!

P.S. What and why was that thing there?? lol

  • Very good...

    to those who oppose

make your own better than this........

  • Could not have said it better myself.

  • Just a few critics.

    1. use a tripod

    2.need better lighting

3.the editing needs to be better.

4.The director need to know when to say cut.

Way to long between points with acting and dialoging.

  • I agree, those are valid points. The whole series was overall a good production though.

  • going handheld and not using a tripod was a stylistic choice. It lends a feel that perfectly still shots or smooth camera moves are incapable of.

  • I agree. Handheld gives you that since of motion and panic that you ca not get from a tripod. All and all not a bad series. I hope to get my series started soon though my equipment is a little less professional.

  • Are you seriously that naive!? Good camera angles dont come from still cameras, plus, moving cameras add the effect of breathing almost. Another, the lighting was appropriate for a suspensful series. Thirdly, the editing could have been better, but in any movie, couldnt it always? Lastly, The director did a fine job. I normally dont follow these stories, but i watched evry single episode! And the elements used were clearly used by a seasoned veteran with fresh ideas.

  • Hey..... you guys never told us what the thing was.... but it was still good! 5/5

  • Thats kinda a point to a mystery. ... lol

  • You guys are amaing! Thanks so much for inviting me to watch your videos! Cataclysmo's awesome too!

  • You guys are incredible. Thank you for include the credits. I wanted to see who was involved I plan to follow the cast/crew/directors everyone to whatever projects you guys are move onto. Quality work folks! Heck that doesn't say enough. I hate to say this....I might have even stay through..eeep.. commercials.. to watch you guys! LOVE your work.

  • Now this is how TV should be done! CBS, I hope you are paying attention. :-)

    Great job!

  • Loved it !! I be watching for more webserials postings ...

  • I understand the need to acknowlege all the folks that helped out on this wonderful series - but when over half the playing time of the episode are just names scrolling - it's a bit excessive.

  • Thanks!!

  • Good job, Josh. That was really good.

  • Wow this show has been absolutely amazing thank you so much to everyone involved. That last scene made me cry :-(

It was great to hear the extended soundtrack at the end too because I really love it.

    Thanks :-)

    Misha x

  • CBS eh? NICE! way to end off a great series guys...Loved it! CHEERS!

  • Whoa... o_o I wish this series was not over... Still, another awesome ep. ^^ Is there any place I can, like, buy this on DVD?

  • Like the recording industry, broadcast television is still pretending it's relevant...and there's amazing creativity such as this premiering on the internet. Thanks to all who made this possible. I happened upon webserials about halfway through this series and had to catch up. I've waited for each weekly chapter ever since. Great job, guys!

  • If anyone would have told me that a few minute episode could be suspenseful, thought provoking, and emotional I wouldn't have believed them. I am saddened at this being the last episode but I hope you will not stop at this.

    Thank you.

  • Cop out, or setting itself up for a sequel??? For example, exactly who was that suited man running from the power plant at the end?

Excellent job guys. I enjoyed this last episode immensely.

  • Copp out ending! BOOOO!

  • Great Work.

  • Clint, Jason, Kevin, Keith, et. al.,

Thank you so much for this wonderful entertainment. Seeing it was not only fun but inspiring. This is the kind of production that is going to convince "the powers that be" that web-based content delivery is viable, and that means a lot to all of us who are struggling to establish themselves. Including me.

    Sincerely,

    Rob "robtran" Anderson

  • Very nice man. i just picked this one cuz i saw it but i'll check out the others now. cool. Check out my group's series if you like... little grittier than this, but solid. we're just starting out and this looks like something to aspire to. :)

  • Josh, Clint, Kevin, Anthony and the rest of the PX team...you have pulled it off! You guys did a REMARKABLE job on this project and were truly awesome to work with. It's been 3 years (HOLY CRAP!) now since this thing was shot and I'd be honored to do it all over again. You guys were shockingly professional and efficient on set and your talent in story telling has grown with every episode. Congrats!!! Hope to work with you all again soon. Thank you! - David ...er, I mean Jamie

  • And thank YOU, sir, for your performance. Like the rest of the cast, YOU did an outstanding job!

  • amen brother.

  • That was really good! But will we ever know what the creature was? that's sad. : (

But the show itself was really great!!!!!

  • Great job! Like many ppl, I think there are lots of unanswered questions, but that's fine with me.

  • LOVE the intro...goes into the music excellently! And thank you very much for the extra-long finale. It was very good, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'll miss the show...but this was a great way to bid farewell. Nice acting, and well shot/directed. The music was as excellent as always. And...YAY! I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but...yay! LOL. Enn credits were awesome.

  • great job guys amazing series, but they never told us what it was! D=

  • I like the ending...although it was a bit abrupt

  • Congratulations on the end of a great series. I wish we knew more about what the creature was.

It really puts you in David's shoes: feeling frustrated about the lack of information, but relieved that Claire survived.

  • Very amazing work. Congrats to all of you. Loved the slow pace of the credits, but they are hard to read on small screen and harder on full screen. Looking forward to seeing this on DVD. There will be a DVD, right? Please? What's next from you guys? What will I do on Tuesday mornings?

  • great job! That was a very good series

  • That was amazing! So professional looking.

  • Wow, that was AWESOME! I agree with the end credits being cool! Great job everyone!

  • Alright, great job everybody! I really did enjoy the series. Good last episode too. And (yes) the end credits were cool.

  • True...I liked your end credits too! Top notch all the way!

  • nice

  • You guys did a great job - keep up the good work =)

  • A really great series. I eagerly anticipated each week's installment. Interesting ending...Thks
