tnx for the link. i have been experimenting with binaural beats; i've been using the program bwgen32. the biggest problem i've been encountering is how seemingly random the actual moments of pain are. it is difficult to reduce it to a problem of pattern and frequency.
Wow. Watching this all the way through was incredible. The silence made it so... aarggh I can't think of a word for it but it definitely caught my attention for the full ten minutes. When it was over I realized so many thoughts went through my head while watching. What is the effect of a cigarette on your headaches? I'll stay tuned.
i usually feel that if i can get myself to smoke, i can sort of zone into the process of smoking. my addiction to nicotine seems to be one of the only "normal" thoughts or sensations i can concentrate on.
had to have surgery. they drilled a hole in my head and i have had problems with depression ever since. but i guess i was depressed before then as well. doctors wont even give anything to help for headaches. i mean strong opiates are the only things that seem to help me. but doctors are so worried about prescribing anything good cause of the DEA. they give you anything for these headaches?
percocets and tegretol but the percocets do absolutely nothing other than make me feel like a bag of jelly with a lot of pain and i refuse to take an anticonvulsant until i've had a full neurological evaluation -- even then i'm leery.
i can imagine how anyone having these types of problems will become depressed or feel an increased sense of depression, especially once surgery is involved.
hang in there man. i would go get a cat scan done. hopefully you wont have to wait 8 hours. when i had my subdural hematoma they said it was like the size of a golf ball in there pushing on my brain. they didnt even understand how i was still standing. hopefully they can figure out whats causing yours and you can get some relief. good luck man.
man, i feel for you, headaches are the worst, i had a subdural hematoma in the past. and i been getting headaches again, have no health insurance so went to ER last night and the place was not even busy the the bitch of a nurse told me id have to wait 8 hours to see a doctor so i just left. hope things get better for you.
That name comes to mind often during a headache and with such intensity that I must be disrupting all of the psychics within a 3 mile radius. If I were an villian, I'd have to say that throwing this type of pain around would be a cool super power.
Fantastic video, props to you for uploading something that seems quite personal.
Sartre was wrong... I'd like you to elaborate on this if you can.

yea, i'm pretty much in the same situation. really sucks. did you require surgery previously or was it minor enough to heal on its own?
