  • Tighten with hand tools, it will pop off. It will get tight, just use some grease on the threads.

  • Really you should never hit anything to do with the motor with a hammer, I agree with the hand tools idea.

    NOTE please people don't use an impact on the clutch, hand tools only, and 70 ft-lbs and to tighten it up. Weak video man at least add the correct info if your going to post stuff like this.

  • @BustedGT1 That is how I have done it for years and never had a problem yet...some people don't have the proper tools so I posted this to show another way of doing it.My next one I will show the proper way step by step and explain this one a little better.

  • @squamishriverjet at 36 seconds you see him take out the bolt, then at 44 you see him with another black bolt. The second bolt is the tool used to remove the clutch. You thread it in and it puts pressure on the crank shaft which seperates the clutch from the crank.
