When we were still hunter gatherers we domesticated wolves and throughout the years and we started making different breeds just before civilization.

Also, Husky's look like wolves, sound like wolves and even act like wolves. I kind of show's the connection between the two canine's.

let me ask you this how do you get your dog too howl??? i have a german shepherd well he isnt mine hes my dads and i named him hewie ive always tried to get him to howl by me howling and he did it once it was soo cute but he stopped howling for awhile then one night hewie was outside, and there was 3 cop cars came by my dads and hewie started to howl it was so cute but really how do you get your dog too howl??? someone answer this cuz i really wanna know thanks

@huskyboy nah, I don't think a wolf/dog would howl to a barking dog. Perhaps he's just feeling lonely. Or he just listened to a sound that resembles a wolf's howl and he's howling back at it. But I 'm pretty sure this was not the dog's barking.

Thats so adorable. I once lived by this couple who had i think about 17 huskys. Their howl at 6 in the morning was amazing, on the weekends i woke up early and went for a walk just to hear them. Music to my ears.
