Guineapig making bird noises!!

my poppy was just doing this noise and iver never heard it before, i thought she was ill or smomething, shes seems okay tho. thankyou for uploading this as i was trying to explain the sound to my mum. she looked a little dazed when afterwards but now shes okay

It's usually made by a mother guinea pig to her babies - I don't think it's to do with stress

Mine just did this for the first time last night - it's very odd. She is perfectly happy and well, so I can't imagine it being related to stress. I did read that it may be when a sow is on heat.

That noise is called chirping, it's related to stress...very very rare noise.
