  • you look like you have no idea how to fly fis!!!

  • It's mine for 2012 year.................

  • I now own a 7wt BVK and I like it a lot. The rod comes without a hook keeper; is this a new trend in rod making? I can live without the hook keeper, however, 2 little studs about 4 inches apart on the side of the rod just above the rod handle to wind eccess leader and hook on when I'm stumbling through the under brush to get to the next creek section would be very handy.

  • this or the sage vxp??? hmm.....

  • @TheTroutman85

I own a 6wt sage vpx and a 6wt sage z-axis. Went down to try the 6wt TFO BVK and it performed equal to my z-axis and better with more finesse than my vpx! I bought the BVK and plan on using it as my new workhorse and saving my sage rods. TFO cuts no corners and I think the BVK series is a tough beat for the value. Oh yeah... Its light as hell. 3.2oz!!!

  • what about in a 4 weight? or is the finesse still better?

  • try landing the fly on the water, your never going to catch anything with the fly in the air. just a hint

  • @rcairplanedudeiscool dude on that thought i used a 8 weight version of that rod cast it like 90 yards IN THE WIND and caught like a 4 pound largemouth on a bead chain woolly bugger

  • Ok i cant stand it anymore. You guys always show the rods and how they cast. but thats the part that is driving me INSANE. You guys never try to catch ANY fish with it or anything, could u guys try that possibly?
