@Costerguy1234556 yeah but some crap named nProtect GameGuard is a lot worse. It have like ovah 9000 errors that makes the game unable to start. atleast VAC doesn't do that. Oh yeah and even on games that uses nProtect GameGuard, there are millions of hackers there. nProtect GameGuard sucks ass hard.
@slipperywhenwet5 Ugh yeah but at least Punkbuster has a heuristic module. I still think Dice was lazy by putting BF2 on Steam and not fixing the damn issues.
@Costerguy1234556 Dice can't fix PunkBusters issues, since they don't own it. It's owned by Evan Balance, who has terrible support, and takes forever to fix massive, widespread bugs that have existed for years. There is no such thing as a perfect anti-cheat, and I'd rather have wall hackers be able to play with VAC then innocent people not be able to play because PB thinks they're hacking. PunkBuster is the reason I haven't played Battlefield BC 2 until they just recently fixed the overlay kick.

@TJPProductions Free users only have 50 slots, can only have standard items, can only craft a few things, can only trade when a premium user invites them too, and can't give away any of their items, and they can't give away gifts. Where as a premium user you get 300 slots, all types of items, All crafting blueprints, full trading, and full gift options. Plus you get the hat (which is really badass IMO, WW1 FTW) and everything you got in the past. It's really not that big of a deal.
@shonins and all they have to do to get a premium account is pay 72 cents at the mann co store. and the hat looks poorly made and is really no compensation considering hats are what are making the game worse.
