Thanks for the walk through. I'm not much of a gamer, but following your play was entertaining. The game seems fun. Didn't like how they make Nightcrawler look like a hippy while the other X-men are in costume. His powers should have been offered to players - porting, as well as his wall crawling ability and agility. Too many people discount his abilities. The guy is great at hand to hand combat and can take out a sentinel with one teleport. I dislike how they delegated him to errand boy.

I want this game so bad, can't wait to get it. I loved the playthrough! And I could totally see a good sequel to this game, with some improvements to the issues you mentioned, and more customization, more unique storylines for each character, the choices you make, etc. But yeah, lots more potential for this.

x-men destiny well i went with the brother hood and at the end seems like only deference is there brotherhood stand by you after you beat last boss quest wise from what i could tell only difference is the attacks and outfits you get

it would of been better if u had interaction with the other 2 characters and they had the main powers u didnt pick and have one be seen with the brother hood or maybe an ally/boss depending on whos side ur on. also i wish it was more custumizable in terms of powers for instance i alsways wanted to make a darkcrawler (nightcrawler/cyclops/wolverin­e/multiple man) and other combos. still might get this game tho

You know what was wrong with this game? It basically took the last ~3 plus years of the X-Men comic continuity and shat all over it.

How am I as a fan of the comics supposed to feel about this? I can imagine that at least some of the bad press comes from this very simple fact.

This was a fun game to watch but I'm starting to see a trend among many modern games of short campaigns/story modes and lackluster endings. Whatever happened to long epic endings and gameplay that spans 30+ hours? I dunno, just seems like such a rip off for a whopping $60.

@ConsciousCloud A university did a study the other day and found only 30% of gamers completed a game that spanned longer than the 20+ hour mark. Alot of Developers think that by making games shorter but with a ton of re playability would be played more.

@tidus814 The only real problem with that idea is that there really isn't much replayability here - if you're worried about differences between X-Men & Brotherhood, you play through twice. Not much combat variation, the powers are cool but actually kind of limited, very little actual "choice" beyond which faction you want to ultimately support. I think Ghost had it right in his final comments - looks like fun, but probably more of a rental, which ultimately doesn't do much for developers.
