Awww... Once a furry friend becomes a part of the family, the loss is just as tragic as losing a loved one... I know it was hard for you and your kids... But think of the love you were able to provide eachother..... Well worth the time spent with him.... I can tell he is still loved today!!

What a tragedy to lose two such wonderful boys in such a short time. They looked like wonderful, wonderful boys. We got Buddy, our Golden, when our shelter dog died after an operation to remove a tumor. I still miss that fellow, but Buddy has helped to ease the pain. You never get over the loss of a canine friend, but it helps to open your heart to another friend who will love you. I hope you are someday able to rescue two more Goldens to help ease your loss. sorry for loss. i lost 1 of my dogs her name was cinonen and she had cancer i never even got to say good-bye to her she was a mix of a poodle and a terrier. she was beautiful dog ever and she was very very old.

Wow, Cant actually remember the last time i cryed like i just have! Know how you feel, Had 3 dogs Border collie & 2 whippets, Lost them all in a year! It does get better though, HONEST!
