wow pretty good. I say you're accomplishing nick's challenge. I can't do that & in fact was gonna look for some tuts on it but seems to be the next elusive beastie.
That was really good and alot better than I can do! But I'm sorry and I really hate to be the one to point it out, but you break your isolation when switching sides... It's really really close though. Backwards does look easier haha
Coming back to this I now understand why it's easier backwards than forwards. It works better with the bend in your elbow. In the backward one you can bend your elbow down so the hand can pass to draw a full unit circle, whereas on the forward one the elbow needs to bend up to let the hand pass, which is far more awkward.
I should really gt back to practicing this, but it takes a lot of time and there's so much else to learn, haha.
This is pretty good. Is there a reason you've learnt it backwards? I've only seen it done backwads, Zan00 does it pretty well in one of his videos.
I've been teaching it to myself forwards, I can hold it for a few beats but it's pretty messy still, just one of those moves that takes a lot of practice.
I never tried it backwards at first, but I can't really do it at all yet because of the lack of practice.
I've been trying to think of a way to teach this but there isn't really an easy way. You've just got to figure out what you're doing with your hands and practice a lot.
Shoud hopefully have this about perfect in a couple of months, haha.
@Amitrix0 There is a reason its easier backwards...
Most people are more comfortable with the forwards weave, non isolated, and because of this, theres more of a muscle memory to overcome going forwards.
Backwards, theres less muscle memory, so you don't get stuck in the habit. ^_^
I amend my statement below... while not perfect, thats good enough to be "clean", fine work!
I was just being 100% honest. Tone doesn't come across in text. Essentially it was "Well... its not clean, but its fully isolated for sure, well done."
Your timing fell in and out, and you look very uncomfortable doing it, but this isn't the point, it IS fully isolated, so thats awesome. I'm 100% sure you could clean that up, I don't need a video to know that, the main point is already in your video, its fully isolated. Keep going, chief! ^_^
That's the cleanest one I have seen so far. I have it down forwards, sometimes. . . . . hahaha

Backwards was easier for me, not sure why. Progress was slow with this move, its still not perfect in the video but getting better =)

You should definetly give a tutorial on this because of the difficulty :)
Do you have an updated video of this to share?

Check out my channel i got a tutorial on it. My isolated weave wasn't as good as his then, but it is now.

Clean, that isn't. Fully isolated, it appears to be. Congrats.

Then I should make another video once it gets more comfortable =)

seriously. that was pretty cool looking. you were hunched over a bit, but posture is hard to keep when you're bending your shoulders like that.
