When the doctor re-booted the universe, everyone forgot about him. He came back because Amy remembered him because he told her a story as a kid. Both Donna and Martha would have forgotten him, and without Donna, the Doctor wouldn't have paid much attention to Jenny, meaning she wouldn't have brought the TARDIS to Messaline, meaning she wouldn't have been created in the first place.

Doctor Who is something I love and I unfortunately dont have anyone to discuss things like this with. @rolodiva yes it makes no sense that everything that the doctor did up to meeting amy never happened, wouldn't that sort of make him not exist at all since he was never born? To me it was the fact that he was erased from the universe but then someone remembered that there was a man named the docctor that was supposed to exist in it and that caused him to exist again. Meaning that everything comes back. The world would have been desrtoyed probably 80 times if he hadn't existed until then.
@SohiHien whats fuinnier is she doesn't even remember him she remembers the TARDIS. lucky he was in there too eh. I hate to think other episodes like Journey's end and the Next doctor were erased because, well firsly i hate obvious retcons like that, secondly...its just a bit rude isn't it. i mean retcon your own episodes is bad but someone elses', and a FINALE of all things. i like to think they were restored (in fact how does Waters of Mars work without Journey's end?).
This is one of all episodes which actually made me happy at the end I usually have this sad feeling at the end but not now. I really hope that Georgia will come back one day at least for one episode. She is amazing. I can´t believe that she is with David in a real life :))

I didn't like the smug expression on the Doctor's face when Martha hugged him goodbye. He always makes Martha work harder than any of his other companions then dismisses her like she doesn't matter to him, but when he wants something done he manipulates her and she’s doing it whether she agreed to it or not.
Too bad the Doctor will never pay any price for treating the pretty and marvelous Martha Jones so poorly.,
@Lucille7777 Yes, he did. The Doctor was punished in Last of the Timelords by the Master. That's his punishment for treating Martha the way he did, as I see it. That's why I don't get angry at the Master any more when I watch those episodes. The Doctor was punished. True, the Master wasn't doing it for Martha, but that's besides the point. The Doctor still suffered after what he did to Martha.
The thing is, David Tennant was 37, and Georgia Moffett (Jenny) was 24. But Matt Smith is only two years older than Georgia Moffett. It will be interesting to see how the lack of age difference will affect the chemistry of the actors.

@TariNimmireth She didn't regenerated, she breathed in the terraform stuff, but that stuff creates life. So the gas repaired here body- without having to chance it.
@TariNimmireth I think the key is that they zoomed in on Ten's hand from "The Christmas Invasion," once at the beginning of the episode and once right after they left Jenny on Messaline. The same "regeneration energy" that The Doctor emits when he regenerates (and that regenerated his hand) came out of Jenny's mouth. I believe she was within the first 15 hours of "creation/initial generation," so the gunshot ended up healing itself without provoking a full regeneration.

This kind of pisses me off. I mean, yes, it's AWESOME that there's another Time Lord around, but I kind of like that The Doctor is alone. It makes me sad, but at the same time, it's a critical element of the show. I felt the same way when he was trying to get the Master to regenerate.

The Doctor is an old man with a ride. He likes to pick up strange women, and he takes the woman for a couple of ride on his TARDIS until they want to go home. It's funny if you think about this business of time travel. What looks like years are only hours back on earth: there's no curfew, the lady gets back without losing years.
Gosh! Jenny is just like her father! She's one great actress. I hope they bring her back with something like her falling in love and the Doctor doesn't like it or something.
I think it would be funny for her to come back with Matt Smith as the Doctor - imagine all the jokes about him looking too young to have a daughter her age!

Jenny doesn't regenerate. The source revitalises her, she is in contact with it when she dies, so a part of it enters her body and repairs it.

I am glad she came back and she did not regerate. She only had that energy comne out of her mouth and it was almost like when captain Jack comes back to life.

I mean it is funny she did not regenerate like the doctor. It might be good though since her personality would be different like when the doctor changes. Or, maybe she regenerate and turned out the same since that stuff came out of her.

I love how in every episode, the aliens are all british. They're never anything else, they always have a british accent. xD

I love this episode. Jenny is so adorable.
Except there's a gaping plot hole and the only reasonable solution for it is that the general is 100% certifiably INSANE. For as old as he is, he had to have been part of the original crew. LOL

When Donna said that she was going to stay with the doctor forever it made me so sad!! Cuz the last person who said that was Rose...... :(

@Treysor101 I guess not, because in the fifth season, she doesn't show up and the doctor has regenerated,so she wouldn't even recognize him and he wouldn't know she existed.

@yonama2 Yeah you're right. But I'd love to see at least the look on her face when she realizes he is her father. (Especially since he looks so young now). Or vise versa with the doctor being surprised that she's even alive. If it happens that is. Too bad she was a paradox, then it would have been more likely to happen.

@Treysor101 she wouldn't recognise him and most likely wouldn't believe that he's her father since he's turned to Matt Smith and all. for all we know the regeneration might have changed his DNA making it seem that they are not related.

@VampireNya everyone who met their father would remember him. but our fathers don't change like the doctor does. he pretty much turns into a completely different man with a different face and personality every time he regenerates. can our fathers do that?

@Treysor101 Yeah one would think the fact they created her means it'd be on the cards she comes back at some point, I can already see yet another Dr Who spin off callled Jenny about the Doc's daughter's intergalactic adventures.
Bit rushed at the end with her spontaneous resurection though and er if she's a timelord like the doc how come she didn't change appearance?

The Doctor is an old man with a ride. He likes to pick up strange women, and he takes the woman for a couple of ride on his TARDIS until they want to go home. It's funny if you think about this business of time travel. What looks like years are only hours back on earth: there's no curfew, the lady gets back without losing years.
