this is a constant argument with Eurpeans regarding superficial Anti Americanism- Anti Americanism has existied in Europe for Decades and has little to do with the Actions of the US GVT. that having been said the Actions OF our GV are Suppored by Europe in various ways, financially , miliatarly and Europeans GVTS have for example supplied Saddam with Chems that can be used for WMD.

I am an American but there are times when I feel embarrassed and ashamed with what my country has been doing especially in the last 8 years (Thank you, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney!). It's not just the reckless foreign policy, but it's what we have been doing to our people. Look at what happened to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina? That disaster could have been easily averted by fixing our infrastructure. From education to health care, America has become an international disgrace.
