Its cheaper to make then buy. Go buy pound of Sodium iodide and do a acid extraction(HCI + H2O2) to get elemental iodine. Sodium iodide is not a DEA list-1 chemical so its alot cheaper to obtain.
I know that... It was one of the first ones i bought... I got another channel that focus on chemistry... Maybe I'm go do that reaction... I'm definately going to do it with bromine and maybe chlorine...

Just tell them that it's added to table salt to prevent a nasty illness where your throat goes crazy.... That will make iodine a must have! (It worked for me..!) I think it will be harder with bromine!
I bought 60g from eBay. I used 20g, and since it came in 30g bags, I got 10g loose now. I keep it in my freezer, but it still evaporates... Irritating stuff..................=Z

Besides every other element... BTW you cant get it in a vial, you will certainly find it tin a small ampoule. Bromine is #1 on my wishlist!
