Hmmmm.....if I remember correctly, we taught her to speak on command then spent several days saying whisper quietly.Saying no when she barked. Praising her at the slightest hint of effort or understanding. I sometimes made eye contact with her and just opened my mouth. That worked sort of. It's amazing what'll they'll do to please you. A handful of treats and a lot of patience. Apparently, the next step is to teach her to count with her barks. G.

thumbs up for that:) no dog is perfect.. like humans & lool my GSD is kinda like yours.. like the size. shes soooooo stubborn -.- its so annoying like i try to teach her something new & she tries to do it 2-3 times & then she gets annoyed & just ignores me lol.

Start by holding one finger up and saying bark and then two fingers and telling him to bark bark then three bark bark bark and soon he will know that three fingers means three barks...be sure and start with one and work on it...dogs follow hand command great. good luck
