@Firestormify They are Serbian Slavs, Macedonian is a dialect of the Serbian language & the Mijaci tribe are Serb in blood and custom - they celebrate the Serb Slava (sign of preserved Serbdom).
Why so harsh!! ...we all are who we identify our selfs to be ,,,,,no one is better !!! i bet if you concern ur selfs with this its either because ur brain washed or just stuck back in time who cares about land when it really dosnt make the person its our ancestors the blood that runs through ur veins the ghosts that follow you get a real life before you die and have to start again for not learning the first tym love your self then you can love others x0x0
I see that none of you know anything, I teach in a special school for traditional songs and dances from Macedonia and I will tell you once and for all you understand! The people you see are called Mijaks, the oldest population in the Balkans, live from the 15th century on the territory of Macedonia and never ever interfered with someone from another village, much less with people of another religion!
Back in the 50's -70's the Yugoslav govt was working with the Turkish govt to get rid of Albanians from Monistir. They were giving albanians free visa's to go to Australia or Turkey. There were alot more Albanians in Monistir then there are know.
Wow, I knew greeks took the Tosk fustanella and made it their national costume during the 1800's but THIS? The FYROM-ians? Taking the Gheg costume? These people are so retarded, struggling for some history, even if that means faking it.
That is Albanian costume, and why do FYROM-ians deny their Slavic heritage?
ur retarded coz everyone on the balkan has similar clothes and scince we r macedonians we baught u guys frm azerbejan into that shit hole u live in now so u guys werre anked and all that so u saw our cloths ah how bout that dont u ever think that ur wrong and brainwashed
you are right ! they are not SLAVIC ! they are real MACEDONIAN ! this is the Macedonian - Iliryan MIJAK tribe ! and if you want to now, it is a bigger posibilyty that today Albanians - ortodox in west Macedonia are ethnic MIJAK who are forcibly albanized !
The various music and dances of these people are beautiful. When they came into Macedonian (originally Greek, & then Roman...) territory in the early centuries A.D., they influenced the native Greeks with their beautiful Slavic music and dance. Today's Greek dances have Slavic and/or Bulgarian elements
i think they are aromani megleni(romanised hellens of macedonia) maybe their traditional clothes are macedonian!mpornto you are wright these are macedonians but no slavic mention the name of village i think it aromanian
there is difference between aromani and these ppl..these are separate ppl,a tribe called mijaks they inhabit 6 villages around this village(galichnik) which is the biggest between them.they r very interesting and there r theories from where they came from but most popular is that they r a slavic tribe.the ppl that r in the wedding r wearing BECHVI(thats how they r called there)as their pants.
This is a region in western Macedonia. Yes, the pants are very similar to albanian once (north albanians), but the upper [part of the dress is typical Macedonian.
they are wearing MIYAK clothes, and MIYAKS are macedonian/ilirian tribe , ancient people in Emathia(AL) , from Podgorica ,till Pelloponesus!all Miyaks villages in west Macedonia are founded bay Miyaks who came from Emathia(AL),they escaped Gegh/Turkish teror and islamization during Turkish - Otoman ocupation!
Upper part of Miyak clothes is black, and cape is also black , but in the past was all white!after the dead of Georgija Kastriot , they changed color whitw with black, only the pants(BECHVI) stay same , white!(black , mourning colour).

bloody albo , if you are really from Bitola, you must to now where is Galichnik and who the Miyaks are ! ( P.S. - Bitola is not Monastir , not in ilirida but in MACEDONIA ! tell me , when the Macedonians expelled albanians from Bitola ???) .
they burn a mosk, and some shops of Albanians, but people are stil there ! and how about Macedonians from Arachinovo, Matejchee,Nikushtak,Otlja and some other villages in Tetovo and Kumanovo aarea who stil live in egzile !!!???

These are national albanian costumes, not slavic Macedonian.
They are worn by Albanian of orthodox faith who were forcibly "converted" into "Macedonian"
My cousin from Reka of Gostivar who is albanian orthodox (I am too) wears this costume
