  • ......so let's see now....

    The Russian Federation shoots vodka.....

The US of A shoots crack cocaine.....

    Hmmmmm?

  • rest in peace headphone users :*(

  • I read the comments on every YT video I watch and I am shocked at how many people can't spell some of the simplest words. LEARN HOW TO SPELL,

  • Don't redicule the Russians. With Putin back... watch Yours !

Never underestimate the Dictators. If Putin want's it, he'll get it.

Some Years ago, an Austrian guy became Governor of LA. Anotherone almost took the whole World. Before, nowone could ever imagine that.

    Russions are on Vodka.

    US is on dope.

    Most of us are unaware.

  • "Giant Russian Airplane" LOL

  • Whether Ukraine, Russian, US, or Walt Disney........... this is still a spectacular plane. I come from the airfreight industry and in my opinion, this plane is just plain special. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in on this. I love aircraft and their designs and I like looking at this plane. It amazes me the sizes of the aircrafts nowadays and how they even get off of the ground, let alone with 1000's of tons of freight.

  • russian *brothers* sucks

  • It*s UKRAINIAN plane

  • No way!.... I wouldn´t fly this heap of junk even if Sharapova asked me to after screwing her all night long!

Antonov, Tupolev, Yakolev and suchlike have been only a disgrace to the history of aeronautics. International aviation authorities shouldn´t allow these aircraft to fly beyond Russian borders. The present and the future of aeronautical engineering is exclusively in the hands of Boeing.....! Always Boeing!!

  • this video are fake aeroplane is not allow to be video at camera inside

  • Tourists mudda fudda.

  • The russians are great!

  • o.0 5/5 nice video........ see my video about this airplane i have in FSX ( Microsoft Flight Simulator X)

  • Dude you sound so arrogant and obnoxious when you talked to the pilots. Why do you think they didn't say much? Its because the AN-225 used to be equiped with military technology, so they are worried. (Its before the collapse of the USSR). You're an idiot, you're questioning them as if you're their superior, you're from the west and you see them as idiots.

  • why do i have the feeling the guy shooting this film was pretending to be a spy posing as a tourist?

  • is dont russian. This is Ukrainian product!!!

  • @MsVasces Built by Russian egineers, by a RUSSIAN! design bureau.

  • poor quality

  • 'da niete, thats all i know'

    *no russians laugh*

...lol, russians (generally) leave a lot to be desired when it comes to humour..

    (from my experiences anyway)

  • Funny to read stupid arguments on Ukraine being part of Russia or not. The Antonov 225 has been built during the USSR period on Ukrainian territory, and has its HQ still on the Ukrainian soil. Saying USSR was Russia is similar to say that USA is Oregon or Europe is Germany. Call it Soviet or Ukrainian, don't call it "Russian".

  • NOT SAME! LOL

  • What did they do to make that APU so nice and quiet?

  • this is Ukranian not Russian

  • Today its not about size because its all about efficiency. To fuel the thing alone costs £80000. And im sure any airline company would choose an efficient aircraft such as the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner over that.

  • @polsblud93 LOL. Toyota Tundra might be more fuel-efficient than Peterbilt trailer tractor too. But truckers still choosing Peterbilt to haul trailers. Guess why?:) Even a baby Antonov has twice payload of Jumbo jet. This papa Antonov has twice payload of baby Antonov. it is outclasses everything in terms of moving oversized overweight cargo.

  • the russians always have and always will be far beyond the americans.

This plane isnt obsolete at all. What plane matches it in size? lol....nothing.

This makes the lockheed galaxy look like a kindergarten toy.

Why do you think the americans quickly went to the moon?.they knew the russians would beat them.

Americans will never produce aeroplanes on this scale.

  • @machinegunboy98 @machinegunboy98 Made in the 40's or fifties? Try 1988 dick shitter. It was never meant to LAUNCH a space shuttle, just transport them. Wow, you really need to do some research before posting your incoherent vodka slurred drivel on a public site.

  • That was like an episode of celebrity cribs or something. The pilots are talking about how good the plane is. Then when they were finished talking about it the face just said "now get your ass out of my plane".

  • It's not russian.

  • @stchogolev yea it is dipshit... AN stands for Antonov AKA a Russian plane manufacturer.. stupid... wana know something els too? it was made to hold russia's space shuttles, to fly them up and launch them... the plane was made in the 40's or fifties, and sat in an old junkyard till the 80's when a cargo carrying company salvaged it. of course, it had all the stuff in it and only neded minor engine work and such... IT'S FUCKING RUSSIAN! sheesh. oh, and what do you think they're speaking? spanish?

  • Chill up buddy and try to remember since when the country named Russian Federation even appears on the world map. It was built in Gostomel, 15 kilometers away from Kiev to carry SOVIET not russian space shuttle. However, now it runs under Ukrainian flags and by all means is the Ukrainian piece of machinery. So all your infant joy and further comments are as predictable as Boris Yeltsin's fart.

  • @machinegunboy98 Made in the 40's or fifties? Try 1988 dick shitter. It was never meant to LAUNCH a space shuttle, just transport them. Wow, you really need to do some research before posting your incoherent vodka slurred drivel on a public site.

  • come on, the ukranian airplanes are incredible, and it isn't an obsolete stuff. it can hold too much charge than the lockheed c-5 galaxy

  • lol its ukrainen not russian

  • @fixiegreen1

This plane was built during the soviet union.back then everyone spoke russian, everyone was in russia.this plane was built in the ukranian territiory, but that doesent mean it is ukranian.Since back then,it was russia.it was built by the russian people :)

  • its ukrainian, not russian.

  • @damiantymkiw It was built in Ukraine during the Soviet Union. That doesn't necesarily mean its Ukranian. By all means it's Russian. They controlled the government back then:)

  • @buildingofhouses

You're an idiot! Ukraine - an independent state! Ukraine and Russia - this is not the same thing! Incidentally, today, August 24, is the independence of Ukraine!

  • @buildingofhouses

You are an idiot: Russia and Ukraine is not the same. Like England and Germany is not the same.

  • @ahlviv yeeh.. like England and Scotland is not the same

  • @buildingofhouses idiot...

  • Was!!!

  • @buildingofhouses ROTFL

  • @buildingofhouses Idiot is you - Russia and Ukraine are as the same as hourse and buffalo... You damn katsap!

  • @buildingofhouses

Ukraine is a country that was made just after. Now everyone from there is taking credit for everything the soviets built.

  • @buildingofhouses no you're the idiot, with your logic Mexico and the USA are the same

  • @buildingofhouses That does mean one and also? Did you though understand what wrote? Russian will understand not a single word on Ukrainian, you wrote large foolishness, teach history and you can beat will understand what Russia and what Ukraine....

  • @buildingofhouses UK & USA ist the same too/

  • This is an Ukrainian airplane. Designed and manufactured in Kiev, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Chief designer and the plane have Ukrainian names. The plane is named as "Mryia" which means "dream" in Ukrainian.

  • @ivanchenkovadim Antonow is Russian design...

  • @andrzejartymowicz russian design, ukrainian built.

  • @ivanchenkovadim hhaahaha so ukrainians have their own language now too? hahahaHAHAHA

Is that like the USA speaks American, and England speaks English? lololol

  • @mattmatt115 Ukrainians and Russians languages sound quite different. They have different alphabets. Lots of words in both languages have different origin.

Russian was official language of the empire, all other languages were suppressed. It was impossible to get education in Ukrainian. At some point in history it was even forbidden by Tsar. This is why Ukrainian was spoken mostly in rural areas. Now it is becomes more popular in the cities.

  • My fife disagrees. She say that bigger is not not necessary better.

  • this is not a 225

  • Cockpit un po' primitivo ma sghicio !

  • russian plane dumbasses. i cant imagine ukraine having the budget/brains/ or technology to makes that kind of plane....

  • Very cool, did they just let you in to visit or were you on a trip with them?

I´d love to fly in it!

  • Boy that guy is freindly!

  • So taking video or pictures there was forbidden, wasnt' it ? lol

  • ...SHIT!!! When you will grow wiser???

Russian and Ukrainians were brothers, and from for

Bad politicians, have turned to MORONS!!!

  • @666BERIYA666 , it is a Soviet plane. No matter where it had left after we ruined our country

  • "can i get your autograph?"

  • I got theirs, but the picture I had it on got ripped up and burned in a fire, too bad!

  • this is not Russian but Ukraine airplaine

  • @alfik1515 It is Russian ... They built it ... There is a Ukrainian flag because when the USSR collapsed, that plane was in Ukraine, there are 2 of Antonov 225, One is abandoned, one is in Practical Use, it was used to carry the Russian Cosmonaunts to space, U idiot

  • wikipedia an-225

    READ THIS U idiot

  • @alfik1515 Can't be arsed, I have a headache and Cold ... I'll do it later

  • @massivesovietunion it was build in USSR time Ukraine, not in Russia

  • Comment removed

  • @massivesovietunion how in the fucking world it is made in Ukraine ?

and dummies like you said it is russian ??? BMW made in Germany ... and russians won the fucking war ??? Hitler said the truth: Provide for russian tabaco and vodka and mission will be accomplished..

  • big checklist

  • First of all, where does that ear-splitting noise come from??

This aircraft might be a marvel of technology 25 years ago...but now it´s another example of Russian obsolete stuff.

The Russians have good technology but they´re unable to keep it up or improve it due to lack of budget.

  • that was the APU

  • @DuncanLafayette

untill someone else makes a plane bigger and better , then you can call it obsolete stuff, untill then , it's not obsolete

  • @DuncanLafayette Dont get me wrong, but this video was taken almost 20 years ago, dont be so harsh. But you got a point.

  • @DuncanLafayette

Definitely not obsolete. This plane is used around the world, transporting different forms of cargo, often what is too much for planes like the C-5.

  • @DuncanLafayette Its not true anymore. Since russian spend a lot of money on development mostly military equipment, thou the dont have money to actually produce more then prototypes

  • @DuncanLafayette Yeah, since theres no such thing as an.......... wait for it...... UPGRADE

Because, you know, the F15 might have been a good plane 25 years ago, but today it sucks because its 25 years old it automatically sucks on the coolness factor.. is that what your getting at? Because this plane has been upgraded several times, so have TU-160 supersonic strategic bombers, mig31's mig29's su30's etc...

I fail to see how its obsolete? Do you know something secret that we dont?

  • @DuncanLafayette obsolete? man, tell me why then that obsolete plane is soo required for transport these days. I think you miss the point here, you don´t defend your country´s honor by saying just stupid things...

  • @DuncanLafayette then if it is obsolete, then why has global demand put the aircraft type back into production

  • @DuncanLafayette looks like those too many people giving negative votes are afraid to face the truth.

  • @DuncanLafayette its got 6 engines and the biggest plane in the world,of course its going to be noisy!,whats the us version?,the B52??

  • @DuncanLafayette

Cut the crap. It's still perfectly usable for the purpose it was designed and can still land in pretty much any place.

Obsolete stuff? Maybe you should say the same to the Detroit auto industry who kept thinking it's the 1950's way into the 2000's. What's the most sold car? The Ford F-150. I rest my case. Without the profitable sales of trucks they'd go out of business long ago.

How was the Chevy small block modern in the 90's?? Made for a world in which oil is plentyful.

  • looks like an antiquated cockpit.

  • It was a enlarged version of the An 124 built for the shuttle, hence the twin tail due to turbulence from the shuttle. Antonov is a Ukrainian company and after the breakup Russia stopped dealing with them. So no more orders for these gaint aircraft. The engines are about the same power as those on the 747, more than the C5, but half of those on the 380 and 777, which run from 90,000 to 110,000 pounds of thrust. Imagine one of these with those new engines, 4 of them would boost thriust 20%.

  • @EnigmaNZ1 You're wrong!!! This Antonov's engines produce 135,000 pounds of thrust, its an official record.

  • @123ATOM321 ZMKB Progress D-18 turbofans, 229.5 kN (51,600 lbf) each

  • that russian guy is like "stupid american, dont come and talk to me about your kiddie cargo planes...."

"C-5 four engines, this six engines"

  • is that what the guy is actually saying??

  • @usmc7242 No, the guy is not saying that, he is being actually nice and trying hard to speak English.

  • @ivanlunaelizarraras And they are half again bigger than the engines on the C-5.This beast makes the C-5 Galaxy look like a toy.

  • Mr. usmc7242 are you in the cockpit also? I do not think the man being interviewed is anything but himself. Russians always appear to be very solid emotionally. Nice video thanks

  • yes, I am the one holding the camera, but I dont remember if I am actually in any videos. :)

  • Dear usmc7242 thankx for getting back to me. I'm just glad you came home and are ok. Happy holidays guy!!!

  • Why is the guy he talks to so angry?

  • Who is angry? The man being interviewed? Or the man asking questions? I do not understand.

  • The man who is being interviewed doesn't seem happy, maybe angry was an exaggeration but he certainly didn't seem pleased.

  • I was asking questions he just didn't expect, I guess. Maybe he thought I was trying to be too nosey! :)

  • Haha fair enough, I didn't know how things were between americans and russians three months before I was born...

  • Oh, he was okay. The US and USSR were always leery of eqch other, while Marines like me secretly wanted to drink heavily with a Russian soldier someday! :)

  • adrastea99: +1

    Russians = Ukrainians

  • At least 2000 unnessesarry gauges in that cockpit.

  • Spoken like a true ignorant!

  • Well maybe not. If you look at the new A380's glass cockpit you will find that al lot of the old gauges has been dropped and the info is available on a multi function display! Not so clever are you?

  • Well, considering it DOESN'T have a glass cockpit, the '2000' gauges, as you put it, ARE necessary! - Until the AN-225 is adorned with a glass cockpit of it's own.

Anyway. Just enjoy it! - If you like all things aviation that is.

  • @xoio i do i do! and this plane ROCKS my socks well maybe not.. but it would definitly rock my insides if it took off beside me

P.S. I really adore this airplane))))

  • Just one question: what the hell is that annoying, constant high-pitched tone?

  • The auxillary power unit was operating the entire time this aircraft was parked on the side of the field, it must have been a small turbine, it was loud all the time, never went off.

  • I don't think USA can build one like this....

  • Sure we could, and we did build the big ones before the USSR ever did. In fact, the first large bomber the USSR ever made was a direct copy of B-29's the US made, they made copies of the onnes that landed in Russia in WWII due to damage from combat over Japan, we used to land in Russia, the Russians would steal the planes, keep the crews for a while, sometimes NEVER give them back, but, that's how Tupolev made his start with heavy aircraft

  • with love from Kiev FUCK you PISS oF SHIT! kiss our Ukrainian ASS and lick our BALLS! SHIT!

  • SHARD UP FUCKERS IT IS UKRAINIAN AIRPLANE!!!!!KIss MY ASS fuCKING RUSSIANS i HATE YOU !!!! it is UKRAINIAN PLANE!!!! FUCK YOU RUSSIANS!

    with love from Moscow

  • learn some english first, you cunt

  • Well

    But I hate Russian

  • it,s not ukrainian plane. soviet union.

  • is that the camera making that feedback-like noise?!? Thats painfully annoying!

    nice video though

  • No, the feedback noise is the Auxilary powere unit, it was running the entire time the aircraft was parked and open to the public

  • Sounds more like the T/R---Transformer/Rectifier.

    AC/DC power converter.

  • no, it was throughout the aircraft, you can hear it on all other videos inside the aircraft, but not outside

  • In Ukraine, located manufacturing facilities, a Soviet aircraft.

  • Sorry that wasn't me written by my Ukranian friend haha.

  • And what is in England?

  • Heathrow, Wembley a scottish prime minister............plenty more than Russia!

  • has this guy got an undercover camera? is this for some expose channel?

  • no, I was carrying a Quasar SVHS camera, this is a long time ago, too, I copied the video into digital a few years ago, forgot when, only posted it recently

  • AWESOME

  • i pity the onboard mechanic and navigator...

  • .........................................!

  • Wait. Is this the cockpit of the an-225 or the an-132 because the title says 132 and the discription 225.

O wait I get it. The 225 because he is saying that they only made 1.

  • where in the title do you see AN-132???
